The PLM Consulting Solution “PPM-PLM Integration for Project Authorizations” streamlines the process of managing project authorizations based on SAP PLM 7 Access Control Management. A user friendly UI enables “non PLM power users”(e.g.: project managers) to maintain create, maintain project authorizations out of Project & Portfolio Management . Therefore metadata and project resources (roles & business partners) in projects are reused in order to define a collaboration area (Access Control Context) with authorizations for PLM users. Furthermore project authorizations can be flexibly activated and deactivated out of a project.
