Social Innovation Exchange Workshop Acceleration Strategy Focused on Livelihood & Entrepreneurship 4 Day Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program Prof. Satyajit Majumdar with more than 33 years of experience, he is consultant & a corporate trainer in the field of Social Entrepreneurship, Growth & Strategy, Innovation, Strategic Human Resource Management. Presently as Professor & Chairperson of Center for Social Entrepreneurship of the School of Management and Labour Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He teaches Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Growth & Technology Strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Service Operations Management. He advises Russian Government, British Council, UN Agencies I/NGOs as well as Corporates and Start-Ups Ventures. Mr. Ravi Raj Durwas graduated from Clemson University, USA with specialisation in Marketing. Currently, he is working as a Programme Manager with the Incubation Centre at Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Under his observation, there are 25 ventures currently being incubated at the Centre and outreach programmes like Satellite/Rural incubators being set up especially in the difficult areas of his country to help the youth take up entrepreneurship as a livelihood as well as social change making option His expertise in Market System Development is quite appreciated in the livelihood & entrepreneurial space. THE RESULTS By taking advantage of expertise in the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, 2017 cohort

member will participate in a 4 Day program enabling them to:

Design and implement a Stakeholders Acceleration Strategy to harness the power of innovation

and entrepreneurship and accelerate growth in their intervention’s ecosystem.

Build an understanding among interdisciplinary team to drive impact and regional strategy

implementation.

Leverage understanding of key drivers of successful innovation- driven entrepreneurial (IDE)

ecosystems to design and implement key programs and policies, informed by TISS research and

global best practice.

Deploy CSE, TISS rigor and use frameworks to deepen analysis and evaluate their current

regional entrepreneurial ecosystems and practices.

Compare and learn from others globally.

ACTIVITIES EDUCATE CATALYZE EXCHANGE

Participants have access to TISS

faculty, leading-edge research,

and tools and frameworks that

help each team move from

ecosystem analysis to

implementation of strategic

interventions.

Teams of key stakeholders ensure

representation of ecosystem

perspectives around the table,

informed strategy development,

and leadership and support for

proposed programs and policies.

It acts as a catalyst for intra-

regional bridge building and

cooperation.

Members attend with a cohort of

25 participants to facilitate a

community of practice where

thought leaders can learn from

their peers. This enables idea

exchange, benchmarking, and

discussion of global best practice.

PROGRAM ARCHITECTURE The program takes participants through a process that includes activities that aid in a progression from analysis to

implementation, enabling regional team members to learn from and collaborate with experts, catalyze regional

action, and leverage global best practice through cross-regional cooperation.

ACTION PHASE

Action phases are active time between

workshops for teams to complete

specific projects designed to deepen

analysis, validate assumptions with a

broader network, and implement new

programs and policies. Teams will

leverage faculty coaching and the

community of their cohort peers to

enable regions to more effectively

impact their ecosystems’.
