About us YIELD is the Youth Institute for Excellence in Leadership Development that focuses on young people in the age-range of 18 to 24 years. It was founded by Willem Jan Hofmans, DBA, PCC in 2015 in loving memory of Lauren Anne Roe (1979-1997) as a not-for-profit association aspiring to make the world a better place by accelerating the leadership development of young people. Our vision is to contribute to a significant increase in the number of leaders who are driven by purpose, meaning and passion. YIELD currently runs accelerated leadership development programs in Cape Town, South Africa and Geneva, Switzerland.

Program Description This one-week program, followed by monthly coaching for one year with a professional coach, will provide you with a solid insight into your roots of leadership and tools to further build on your strengths and successfully address areas for development. It is designed to be interactive and thought-provoking, while encouraging knowledge and skill development on such topics as leading self and others.

At the end of the week each participant will walk away with:

1. Five to eight personalised leadership patterns for success

2. Tools for effective leadership 3. An individual action plan to

improve personal leadership (to be used as the basis for the follow-on coaching)

Outline: Leading Self: during 4 of the 5 days the focus will be on your individual leadership. By the end you will better understand how your life experience has defined your leadership and what you will need to work on to become a leader driven by purpose, vision and passion. Leading Others: you will experience yourself leading within a team. You will learn how to build a high performing team, deal with conflict and experience the power of feedback from fellow young leaders during a day of outdoors activities. Follow-on Coaching: you will have 30’ of individual coaching per month for one year with a professional coach.
