Cortelyou Early Childhood Center (CECC) is a premier childcare facility located in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Having served the children of our community for over 30 years, we take pride in providing a stimulating and diverse curriculum as we believe that hard work leads to success. Our educational center fosters an environment where the community is also involved in educating our students.
Our Private Elementary School program has proven to be one of the best in Brooklyn. We provide an enriched and rigorous academic curriculum that caters to the needs of gifted and talented students as well as students who benefit from a smaller classroom setting. Our curricular subjects include: English and Language Arts, Math, Science/Health Science, Social & Global Studies, Spanish, Computers, Computer Programming and Physical Education. CECC immerses students into challenging assignments and high order thinking.

A summer well spent is an integral part of a child’s growth and development. Therefore, this summer at Cortelyou, we will offer a Summer Enrichment Program AS OPPOSED to Summer Camp. Children’s days will consist of engaging academic lessons in the morning and fun-filled afternoon activities and onsite trips. Our students will receive a well-balanced summer experience which will enable them to rejuvenate their minds, return to the normalcy of in-person environments as well as get the opportunity to socialize and interact with their peers. This past year was an unprecedented time for our children, thus, we strongly believed that it is important to make programming changes to boost our student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Our centers provide an enriched educational environment to stimulate and encourage your child's academic achievement. Assistance with daily homework assignments, development of sound study habits, help with homework completion, library programs, educational games and extracurricular club programs. The program runs from 3:00 - 6:30pm at our Annex and Academy locations during the academic school year; however, service is also available on special days and school breaks when our academy and public schools are closed to students.
