SATURDAY ENRICHMENT PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Saturday Enrichment is a set of engaging and

hands-on courses which allow all Bodwell students

opportunity to expand their learning and to gain

“real-world” knowledge. These courses also give

students the opportunity to further strengthen their

English language skills, towards the aim of studying in

university or pursuing ambitious careers.

ACADEMIC CLASSES BOARDING

• Focus on English Language Acquisition through reading, writing,

listening, & speaking activities

• Experienced ESL / Academic teachers

• IELTS Preparation

• Include Mathematics, Social Science, Art / Drama

• Placement test at beginning and end of program to track improvement

• On-site residence with rooms that accommodate 2-4 students

• Student lounges with kitchenettes, laundry facilities

• Supervised by experienced staff

• Breathtaking views of the waterfront & mountains

• Three nutritious meals and an evening snack provided daily

The Academic Preparation Program (APP) is designed for students age 13 – 17 who are enrolled in Bodwell High School in the Fall 2018 semester, and other prospective Bodwell High School students. This program will be taught by teachers with expertise in both international education and ESL instruction. Courses will have a focus on literature, social sciences, and academic writing with the overall goal of improving student’s English abilities before the regular semester begins. Fall 2018 Bodwell High School students will be exempt from APP only if special permission is given.
