STUDY SMARTER

STUDY SMARTER

• Study Smarter academic coaches meet one-on-one with students to determine their strengths and weaknesses as learners. • Together a student and coach design strategies to

meet individual needs. • They can arrange weekly or bi-weekly meetings to track

progress toward set goals. • Study Smarter Coaches also provide regular

workshops in Memory, Concentration, Time Management, Note Taking, Learning Styles, and Textbook Reading.

SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION

Page 28: Academic Centers For Excellence

SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION

• Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are regularly-scheduled review sessions in which students integrate course content and study skills.  • Tutors who have previously done well in the

course lead the sessions and work closely with faculty.  • If you would like us to set up supplemental

instruction for a course, please contact us and recommend a former student that you think would make a good tutor.
