ABSTRACT Decreased estrogen in postmenopausal women led to the complaints of vasomotor , psychosocial complaints , physical complaints , and sexual complaints that may impair the quality of life that is commonly called the climacteric symptoms . This study aims to determine the symptoms and quality of life in women of menopausal age who have symptoms of the climacteric . Observational study is a descriptive analytic cross-sectional study design , data collection by interview type . In this study the results obtained by the average age of menopause was 49.05 . Women who experience vasomotor climacteric symptoms were 41 ( 51.3 % ) , psychosocial climacteric symptoms were 23 men ( 28.8 % ) , physical climacteric symptoms were 31 persons ( 38.8 % ) , and sexual climacteric symptoms were 18 people ( 22.5 % ) . Quality of life 91.3 % mild vasomotor , psychosocial life kulaitas 100 % lightweight , quality of life is 92.5 light physical , and sexual quality of life of 98.8 % mild . It can be concluded that the climacteric symptoms experienced by menopausal women with vasomotor symptoms are commonly experienced symptoms are a burning taste , psychosocial symptoms often experienced is the feeling palpitations or nervousness , physical symptoms often experienced pain in the back of the head and neck region , and sexual changes with symptoms that are often experienced changes in sexual desire , and quality of life in postmenopausal women experiencing climacteric symptoms not cause significant disruption on the activity of vasomotor , psychosocial , physical , and sexual .
