My name is Sophie, and I'm a former makeup artist turned purveyor of products that truly help women enhance their natural beauty. I was born and raised in London, and have lived in Canada, Australia, Thailand and Mexico.

For most of my adult life I was plagued with sensitive skin. No matter what I used to address the problems, the irritation persisted. Even "hypoallergenic" and "dermatologist-tested" products left my skin itchy, blotchy, dry and uncomfortable.

Ingredient Investigation

When the problem became so bad that I had to use a prescription steroid cream to manage my symptoms, I decided to take a deeper look at what I was using on my skin. To my shock, I discovered that my entire beauty regimen was laced with toxins that were also found in brake fluid and antifreeze! I was appalled, but I was determined to find a better solution for my skin.
