cabin in Kentucky and Ohio.• Abe and his older sister
worked hard on the farm.• When they could be spared
they went to school about two miles away.
• He learned fast at school and was pretty smart.
• His mother died when he was about nine years old.

• Lincoln was the president who stopped slavery.
• He was 6’4’’ and the tallest president.
• Lincoln was president during the Civil War.
• He was the first president to wear a top hat.

him in the back of the head in Fords theatre.
