  • SWISS-GARDEN INTERNATIONAL OVERVIEW

    Swiss-Garden International (SGI) was established in 1991 as (1) a hotel operator to manage

    hotels for OSK Properties and (2) a hotel management company to assist hotel owners with

    their third-party managed hotels.

    SGI currently manages and operates 11 hotels and resorts with an inventory of over 2,500

    guestrooms. Swiss-Garden International has an owner-focused approach to driving financial

    returns from hotel investments.

    Currently, SGI undertakes management projects in Malaysia and Australia, and has plans to

    Mr. Ang comes with more than 25 years experience in the

    hospitality field.

    He started his career with the Shangri-La group on the

    island before relocating to Kuala Lumpur to assume key

    positions in established hospitality brands like the Holiday

    Inn group, New World / Renaissance and the Hotel

    Equatorial group.

    Throughout his career, Mr. Ang has held various senior

    management portfolios, both in Marketing as well as

    Operations including board member responsibilities for

    hotel companies with properties in Malaysia, China,

    Vietnam and Myanmar.

  • Izudin Merican Group General Manager

    Izudin Merican has more than 27 years of experience in the Hospitality

    industry, including 21 years in senior management positions. Izudin has

    previously worked with the Shangri-La International group and prior to

    joining Swiss-Garden International, Izudin was attached with the Marriott

    group where he had held various key positions such as Director of F&B,

    Director of Operations and General Manager.

    Izudin is responsible for consolidating and standardizing the Companys

    regional operations, in order to facilitate future growth, drive higher service

    levels and promote the Companys focus.

    A proven ability for developing and managing operational metrics, strategic

    planning and execution, consolidating disparate systems, and managing

    remote teams is critical to success.
