LEADERSHIP TEAM
An authority and expert in strategy and
brand marketing, Idris operates at the
intersection of business strategy,
experience design and emerging
technologies. Idris provides C-level
executive and board-level counsel,
innovation and strategic guidance for
multiple industries that often involve leading
growth initiatives and innovation
management. Previously he was Senior VP,
Chief Strategist with Blast Radius (a WPP
company), where he was responsible for
global strategy outputs for clients such as
Nike, Nintendo, Intrawest, BMW and AOL.
Prior to that he was global head of strategy
with Organic (an OMG company) with
clients such as HP, Bell and Daimler
Chrysler. His other experiences included
President, Chief Strategy Officer with Live
Lowe and Partners (an IPG company) with
clients such as HSBC and MasterCard,
consultant with McKinsey and Chief
Strategist N.A. with CBIZ e-solutions
(CBIZ).
He received extensive business training
and advanced management degrees from
the London Business School, Harvard
Business School and London Brunel
Graduate School.
Idris
Mootee,
CEO
Scott is a creative business artist who
connects big ideas with brands, products
and campaigns. A dynamic thinker who
operates at the intersection of business
model innovation, social media and service
design, he is responsible for leading a multi-
disciplinary team to develop innovative
ideas for Idea Couture’s clients. Scott has
worked for clients including Crate & Barrel,
Better Homes & Gardens, Starbucks,
Newell Rubbermaid and Kitchen Aid. Scott
has helped uncover business changing
ideas for many Fortune 500 clients in
industries such as food, health & hospitality,
from Kraft Foods to Four Seasons. Scott cut
his teeth on the brand side of life as head of
marketing of a new age beverage company
and played a pivotal role at Canyon Ranch
Health Resorts as their head of interactive
marketing. He began his consulting career
at Bain & Company. Scott holds a HBA
degree from the University of Western
Ontario and a Masters in Management of
Hospitality from Cornell University. He
moonlights as a food performance artist and
cooking instructor. Scott also sits on the
Board of Directors of Better The World, a
social fundraising startup.
