The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (or Ofqual, for short) are a UK Government department who rigorously check all of the major qualifications in England to ensure they conform to their strict standards. THE OPEN & DISTANCE LEARNING QUALITY COUNCIL

1994

i-to-i TEFL was born (hooray!) and we startedtraining up teachers ready to take English

classes all over the world. This same year wepioneered the classroom course, changing the

way TEFL works forever!

2001

The year we launched the first online TEFLcourse! With a TEFL course entirely online, our

teachers can fit the flexible training around eventhe busiest life! Plus, with 24/7 access through

2003

By 2003, over 50,000 happy i-to-i graduateswere living the TEFL dream – from Spain to

In a nutshell, a Level 5 Course is a higher level, meaning you’ll get a better calibre of course material, a more challenging final assessment and a certificate that’s more highly respected by employers. So, if you’re looking to bag yourself the best job possible with the highest salary and stand out from the TEFL crowd, we’d recommend enrolling onto a Level 5 Course (or even better, one of our Level 5 Diplomas!).

Alternatively, if you’re looking for an entry-level position with an average salary, a Level 3 Course will still give you all the skills and knowledge you need. We’d recommend enrolling onto a Level 3 Course if your level of English is fluent but not native-level, and/or you have a lower budget for your training.
