About the Program The teacher training program isn't just about being having a certification, learning about poses, or getting to "be the teacher" somewhere. It's a commitment to yourself to learn more about who you are and blossoming into all that you are! Yoga is deep and there are may paths one could take in a yoga practice. Many paths that lead us all back to the same thing. Sound interesting? The 200 Hour YTT program will provide you with the tools to open you to many different aspects of a yoga practice that you can take back with you to your mat, or even to serve in guiding others. The program will be lead by Ms. Tracy Pamieri (ERYT, YACEP, & Studio owner) and sitting in with the role as "program mentor", so to say, will be studio RYT & Manager Michael Giaimo, who himself was guided and certified under Tracy Palmieri. Here is what the course will cover: • History of Yoga , types of practice, and philosophy • (Asana) Poses and practice technique • Mantras , Mudraʼs, Meditation, and Pranayama • Anatomy • Ayurveda • Chakra System • Cueing, Safety, and Modifications • Teaching & the business of Yoga ... along with this there will be times were we share in Satsang, have some in session readings, reading assignments, some fun projects, and preparation for your first class which will be guided as a team with your classmates to raise money for a charity or cause that you collectively choose to support. That being the final event where you complete the program. At the end of the course, upon completing all the requisites, the studio will present you with your Yoga Alliance verified certificate signifying the completion of the program.
Our Lead instructor: Ms.Tracy Palmieri Tracy began her yoga journey over 7 years ago when she was going through a stressful time and needed to escape from the everyday stress, shut off her mind and be at peace. The moment she walked out of her first yoga class she was hooked and knew that yoga was the escape she needed. She continued to practice multiple times a week and ultimately received her RYT 200 Hr. Yoga Instructor Certification in 2013. As of 2017 Tracy now has her E-RYT, YACEP, and RYS 200 designations. Tracy dedicates time to planning a class that will challenge her students and allow them to leave the stress of the day at the door and feel at home on their mat. In 2017 Tracy wanted to share her love for yoga with others and began instructing teacher training. She spends time diligently planning each lesson to ensure that her trainees get the most out of their experience. Some of her students have teach at Good Vibes, including Michael Giaimo & Genna Cimo. In November 2017 Tracy took a leap of faith and opened her own yoga studio, Serenity Yoga & Wellness, which since opening has expanded to two locations. "Tracy was a big part of why taking teacher training at a studio VS just reading about things on my own made such a difference. Her methods in teaching the techniques to guide a Vinyasa class are really great but the way she is so open, kind, AND REAL was inspiring to me and has stayed with me in my practice" -Michael Giaimo
