collegiate successFormer winners have also gone on to receive collegiate All-America nods, All-Conference accolades, ANNIKA Award Presented by 3M for the top Division I female player and National Championships, including Jamie Lovemark, Heather Bowie, Alison Lee and Charles Howell III. A staple for college recruiting, more than 50 colleges and universities are represented each year.

Philip Barbaree of Shreveport, Louisiana, broke the 72-hole AJGA scoring and tournament record with a 24-under-par 264. An LSU verbal commit, the Rolex Junior Player of the Year went 66 holes bogey-free.

Hannah O’Sullivan of Chandler, Arizona, also broke the 72-hole tournament record with a 14-under-par 274 and became the third girl ever to win both Rolex-sponsored AJGA Invitationals and Rolex Junior Player of the Year in the same season.

rewind: 2015 champions

As the longest-running stroke play tournament on the AJGA schedule, it’s no surprise to find golf’s biggest names on the list of past champions. Former champions have gone on to succeed at the amateur, collegiate and professional levels. Notable alumni who have competed in the Rolex Tournament of Champions include Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk, Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, Inbee Park, Webb Simpson and Phil Mickelson.
