From a country to another for performing a specific task, or it is a visit to a place or several places in the purpose of entertaining which leads to an awareness of other civilizations and cultures, also increasing the knowledge of countries, cultures, and history

• Tourism has a direct impact on the national revenue for all touristic countries, it creates work opportunities, industries, and several investments to serve and raise nations performance and cultures, also distributes their history, civilization, and traditions

• Tourism is an important industry that depends on culture and science .

The benefit for tourism economic• Economic benefits• Economic benefits resulting from tourism can take a number of forms

including:• 1. Jobs• Employment may be associated directly, such as tour guide or managerial

positions; or in supporting industries like food production or retail suppliers.• 2. Increased spending• Increased spending in the community generated from visitors or tourism

businesses can directly and indirectly promote the viability of local businesses.

• 3. Economic diversification• Tourism operators can play a role in highlighting the broad prosperity that

Social:• Tourism in certain areas can

destroy the culture of the tourist location, old traditions may be lost or certain skills may be forgotten due to modernization, for example, residents forgetting how to farm.

• Congested roads become a nuisance for local residents who only want to travel short distances.

• There are long queues at shops as tourists fill the shops.

• Constant noise from traffic and tourists disturb local residents, destroying their peace and quiet.

• The exclusivity of the area makes it difficult to buy day to day items.

Positive and negative effects of socialPositive• The improvements to infrastructure and new leisure amenities that

result from tourism also benefit the local community. Tourism encourages the preservation of traditional customs, handicrafts and festivals that might otherwise have been allowed to wane, and it creates civic pride. Interchanges between hosts and guests create a better cultural understanding and can also help raise global awareness of issues such as poverty and human rights abuses.

Negative• Visitor behavior can have a detrimental effect on the quality of life of

the host community. For example, crowding and congestion, drugs and alcohol problems, prostitution and increased crime levels can occur. Tourism can even infringe on human rights, with locals being displaced from their land to make way for new hotels or barred from beaches. Interaction with tourists can also lead to an erosion of traditional cultures and values.
