The proprietary MaxSignal® Malachite Green/Leucomalachite Green ELISA Kit is an ELISA designed for routine screening of Malachite Green/Leuco-malachite Green in fish, shrimp, fish and shrimp feed, fish oil and water samples. This kit offers a rapid, 96-well high throughput quantitative assay. In fish, chromatic MG is rapidly bioconverted into colorless LMG. The MaxSignal Malachite Green/Leucomalachite Green ELISA Kit functions by converting leucomalachite green (LMG) to malachite green for detection.
The MaxSignal Malachite Green/Leucomalachite Green ELISA has been added to the USDA’s Chemistry Laboratory Guidebook as the only method that it recommends for the screening of fish samples for malachite green contamination (Method #R44a, Screening for Malachite Green and Crystal Violet by ELISA).

MaxSignal® Fluoroquinolone ELISA Test Kit
Bioo Scientific offers two different MaxSignal® Fluoroquinolone ELISA Kits. Cat # 1024-06 is ideal for the detection of fluoroquinolone in fish, shrimp and meat samples. This kit uses enrofloxacin standards (0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 ppb). Cat # 1024-02 can be used to detect fluoroquinolone in honey samples with a detection limit of 2.5 ppb. This kit offers norfloxacin standards (0/2.5/7.5/20/50/150 ppb).

The MaxSignal® Furazolidone (AOZ) ELISA Test Kit offers sensitive quantitative analysis of furazolidone, in various sample types. As seen below the Max-Signal Furazolidone ELISA Test Kit offers results that are as accurate as LC-MS/MS for AOZ detection in catfish samples (10 samples of each sample type were analyzed).

Sulfonamides are widely used as feed additives, mainly for fattening of calves and pigs. Sulfonamides are also used in veterinary medicine for the treatment of intestinal infections, mastitis, and other diseases. Sulfonamide residues may therefore occur in food of animal origin. According to the US FDA and EU law, the maximum residue limit for all substances of the sulfonamide-group are 100 ppb in muscle, fat, liver and kidney, and 100 ppb in milk.
Although physical-chemical methods such as high pressure liquid chromatography are widely used for sulfonamide detection, their application for routine screening of numerous samples is limited by cost and instrumentation. HistaStrip™ Test Kit
The HistaStrip™ Test Kit uses a novel dipstick technology for the rapid visual determination of histamine in seafood, fish meal, wine, milk and cheese. The proprietary strips can detect unsafe levels of histamine in food samples in only 4 minutes without the use of any laboratory equipment, organic solvents or heating steps. AflaFluor™ Total Aflatoxin Column Kit
The AflaFluor™ Total Aflatoxin Column Kit contains immunoaffinity columns and reagents for the convenient purification, enrichment and quantitation of total aflatoxin (B1, B2, G1 and G2) from a variety of food and feed samples using a fluorometer.
The AflaPure™ Total Aflatoxin Columns contain immobilized antibodies which bind all aflatoxins. When food sample extracts are passed through the columns, aflatoxins will specifically bind to the column while the other substances pass through. After washing the column with a wash solution, the aflatoxins are eluted using methanol. MaxSignal® Fructose/Glucose Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Fructose/Glucose Assay Kit is a cuvette-based enzymatic assay for the detection of fructose and/or glucose across a variety of food samples. The assay is useful for analysis of inverted sugar, a mixture of equal parts of glucose and fructose resulting from the hydrolysis of sucrose; this sugar is found naturally in fruits and honey and produced artificially for use in the food industry. The assay can also be performed using a microtiter plate for high-throughput sample analysis.
MaxSignal® Fructose Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Fructose Assay Kit is a cuvette-based assay for the detection of fructose in a wide array of food samples. If preferred, this assay can be performed in a microtiter plate for higher throughput of testing samples.
MaxSignal® Glucose Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Glucose Assay Kit is a cuvette-based enzymatic assay for the determination of glucose across a variety of food samples. The MaxSig-nal® Glucose Assay Kit uses an enzymatic reaction to detect glucose in food samples. Glucose is first phosphorylated by hexokinase to make glucose-6-phosphate (G-6-P). This compound is then used as a substrate by the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase to convert NADP+ to NADPH. This conversion, measured at 340 nm, is proportional to the level of glucose in the sample.

MaxSignal® Ascorbic Acid Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Ascorbic Acid Assay Kit offers a fast and easy determination of ascorbic acid in beer, wine, and produce products. The concentration is directly determined from the change in absorbance at the specified wavelength.
MaxSignal® Nitrate/Nitrite Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Nitrate/Nitrite Assay Kit is a cuvette-based enzymatic assay for the determination of nitrate and/or nitrite across a variety of food samples.
MaxSignal® Urea Assay Kit
The MaxSignal® Urea Assay Kit uses a coupled enzymatic reaction scheme to detect urea in food samples. The assay measures the concentration of urea using the urease enzyme which converts urea to ammonia. The ammonia produced by this reaction is then used as a substrate by the enzyme glutamate dehydrogenase to make glutamate. In the process, NADH is stoichiometrically converted to NAD+. This conversion, measured at 340 nm, is proportional to the level of urea in the sample.

MaxSignal® Automated ELISA Station
