My personal highlights from this years Surface Design Show.

Gorgeous decorative stonework from Dreamwall via Decorative Stone Panel Ltd. Never thought I would ever say gorgeous and stone panel in the same

sentence did you? And I finally got to meet the lovely Hannah Coleman who is one of the nicest people on twitter and even nicer in person.

Bespoke wall murals from Surface View, who also produce canvases,blinds and posters or reproduce images on any surface. Their image collections include material from the V & A, the National Gallery and Marvel Comics.

Architectural panels from Lumicor, made from translucent resin which

encapsulate materials such as foliage, metals, textiles and glass. I loved the pressed flowers effect above. Available from Muraspec.

Stamprugs by Rug-Maker who have a global license to reproduce the Machin head stamp of the queen.

Optical Surface byChai Young Lee. A mirror when the lights are off but when lit turns into a spectacular illusion of hundreds of patterns.

The Trend Wall from Mix Publications. I particularly love the Vanity predictions.

This looks like it was a really fascinating exhibition. I’m glad you had a good time! I agree with you about Hannah from DreamWalls – she really is one of the nicest people on Twitter (and has a great blog too with some top vintage finds on it!)
