It is often thought that the automaticprogression from GCSE is A Levels, but forsome that’s just not the right path. At Abingdonand Witney College we understand that eachindividual learns differently.

With so many alternatives designed to suit thelearner as well as fitting in with industryrequirements, it’s no wonder that more andmore students are turning to vocationalqualifications. Our Level 3 courses areequivalent to A Levels and are perfect forstudents who have a strong inclination towarda particular vocational career and who want togo to university.

Our Level 3 Extended Diploma courses, whichare the equivalent to 3 A Levels do not includeexaminations, but are entirely courseworkbased with some practical assessments orwork experience, unlike A Levels.

qualification rather than the traditional A Level, but Level 3 vocational qualifications arerecognised by all universities.

At Abingdon and Witney College we have stateof the art facilities as well as fantastic teachingand our Level 3 students have gone on tocomplete degrees at highly prestigiousuniversities including Kings College London,University of Bath, University of Exeter andEdinburgh University.
