The ABC Book can be useful in many ways. There is no one “right” way to use this book. It was developed as a resource for classroom teachers.

song This song is sung to the tune of “The Muffin Man”. It’s use is optional and to be incorporated into a lesson plan when appropriate. Print one and laminate.“Oh do you see the letter ____, the letter ____, the letter ____?Oh do you see the letter ____, for it says ______.”

blank grid Print as many as you need and laminate each. Place soft velcro on each individual square.

letter picture symbol pages Print 2 of each letter. Laminate. Keep one page in tact and cut out individual picture symbols from the second page. Put male (hard) velcro on individual pictures and female (soft) velcro on individual squares on the large page.
