The skills of operations and maintenance personnel play a key role in equipment performance as well as maximisingreturn on investment. Our commitment is to ensure that ABB product users are trained and kept up to date withchanging technologies and product enhancements. ABB has a range of training courses covering Measurement &Analytics portfolio including instrumentation (level, temperature, pressure, flow, actuators), water analytical (ph,conductivity, turbidity, sodium, silica analysers), Continuous Gas Analysers (CGA), Natural Gas Chromatographs (NGC),Process Gas Chromatographs (PGC), Fourier Transform Infrared Analysers (FTNIR) and Integrated Sample SystemSolutions.

These workshops are instructor led with short presentations and demonstrations, extended exercises and hands-onsessions and discussions. Approximately 35% of the course is hands-on lab activities.

Course DurationThe duration depends on the course selected.Typically the duration is between 2 to 4 days.

Training class hours and refreshmentsThe training class hours depends on course selected.Typically they are scheduled from 9.00am - 4.00pm. Lightlunch and refreshments will be supplied during training.

MaterialsTraining equipment, materials and manuals are supplied byABB Australia. However candidates are required to bring alaptop for practical exercises (will require access rights toinstall SMT, TCT and HMI software).

On-request coursesAn on-request course is a training course arranged for agroup of employees within an organisation, held at the ABBTraining Centre facilities or on-site. The on-request courseselection covers the list on the right. The scheduled coursescan be arranged for an organisation-specific group. The priceof an on-request course is tailored and quoted separately.

CancellationIf you need to cancel, please inform us as soon as possible.This will allow another applicant to attend the course.Alternatively, your place on the course can be transferred toanother person in your company or department.

You may cancel the course with the following conditions:

– More than four weeks before the start date:At no charge

– Between two and four weeks before the start date:50 percent of the fee will be charged

– Less than two weeks before the start date:The full fee will be charged

Participants who fail to show up for a course without noticewill be charged the full course fee.

Course PricesCourse pricing is listed above. Requests to hold the coursewith less than four participants will incur a higher feeper person.

ReservationsABB Australia reserve the right to change course schedules,programs and contents. A scheduled course may becancelled due to low enrolment (less than four persons). Inthis instance our Training Centre staff will inform you twoweeks before the course start date. A maximum numberof participants has been defined for every training coursein order to meet the safety and quality standards - varyingbetween 4-6 persons, depending on the course type.
