Transcript of Ab Urbe Condita Version 4
Over the last months and years, I have published several Guides in
regards to Peace Time TR’s. Personally I find it is the foundation of
what you want to do and what you want to accomplish in the game
for yourself.
When looking at TR’s from various players in various domains, I
notice that most do not Respect or Follow the logic of the Caps.
The Caps can be divided easily in 2 categories:
1) Battle stats
2) Non Battle stats
The Non-Battle Stats are the stats that Revive troops, give Raid
Bonus, Train Troops, Craft, Upkeep Reduction etc.
You either want to focus on a selection of them, or you want the
Peace time stats as broad as possible. Aka cover as much stats as you
want close to the cap. Reach the cap, or be as close as possible.
Going over the Caps has no benefit. It will simply stop working
after the imposed cap.
Why would you disregard them?
Resource Production Cap = 2000%
Food Production Cap = 2000%
Normally they should not stack as
the Cap is 2000, but they do to the
limit of 4000%.
(coding error by Kabam)
Another Example, March Speed
Another Point to highlight is March speed.
March speed is capped at 500% but it
covers ALL marches. Including Reassign,
Transport, Scouting, Attacking etc.
Instead of putting on a jewel for Transport
Speed on any card, apply a Card like Robin
with March Speed is more beneficial or
Victors Huntress.
March Speed Cap of 500% is the one to
aim for in your peace time TR.
This can be accomplished within 1 Card,
see examples below.
Another Example, Chance to find items (item drop)
General:
Chance to find Items
Specific:
Chance to find Items in Dark Forests
Chance to find Items in PvP
The CAP on all those is 20%,
The “General Chance to find items” covers all, thus you can use this one
in Cresting, Dark Foresting, Battle, Mercs, Nomads and whatnot.
The specific ones ONLY give you an increased item drop when those
specific circumstances are applied. Thus if you are DF’ing it applies, but
not when cresting, Nomads, Mercs etc.
A good card to have in Peace time TR, and its “Chance to find items” will
be useful for DF’ing, Cresting, Mercs, Nomads etc. is:
This TR allows me to attack Dark Forests with Scouts, Attack Wilds
& Barbarian Camps with Souls or Archers. I can transport, Train,
Build, Craft etc. at Max.
I can use this TR without any change on Nomads and Merc Events.
Only for AP cycles you would need City Value in your advisor, so if
there are NO events like Nomads or Mercs, you can switch out the
Percival Advisor for a City Value Advisor. (Example)
The Trophy covers a lot at MT31 and with a Bright
TTS Jewel, you cover the Cap for TTS.(4000)
You will also cover Astone cap, Construction Speed,
Upkeep & Resource Production. Extremely useful
Card.
Robin the Hero is a very useful card for March
Speed and bonuses for Raiding. In this case Crafting
Speed was applied as a Jewel.
If you are not Raiding apply a diff Card with Range
or Range Debuff.
The Window is an Older Unique which will give you
Accuracy in buff & debuff in your Preset. Also, we
squeeze Life stats in the Preset.
(In the Next Update Of this Guide (V5) we will use a
Window with an Unique New TR stat to the game)
Reviving, Storehouse protection, Bonus Astones &
Increased Population is covered by this wonderful
Table. Another Version exists of this Table with
Population (higher) on line 3. A card to have in TR.
This statue is perfect for a Peace TR as General
Chance to find Items will apply to Mercs, Nomads,
Wilds, Barbs, DF & PvP. With 3 Range slots.
If you don’t have Robin the Hero, then this
Huntress can give you (general) March speed. If you
do not have this 1, apply the regular Huntress.
The Chandelier applies ALL the SpellPower needs in
this TR.
(Therefore, we do not need to put the Solstice Pillar
and can use a Tower Stats Pillar or another Pillar)
The Tapestry applies Guardian stats for Defense
and Attack at the same time. This dual set up
benefits your cresting cities with Ore Guardian
especially in DF, Crest, Merc, Nomad. In addition,
Bonus to PvP on Defense and Offense. And the new
dual stat Jewel, Attack, Combat Speed Debuff
The Banner Complements the Tower stats Pillar
(Next page) and together they supply all the Tower
stats needed to & over Cap.
For Both the Defensive & Redoubt Tower.

The Pillar Complements the Tower stats Banner
(Previous page) and together they supply all the
Tower stats needed to & over Cap.
For Both the Defensive & Redoubt Tower.
The noble Stag will give you March Size and Battle
stats. For successful cresting and DF’ing you need a
minimal of 5000 Defense, 1000 Attack, 250 Life.
You can apply a lot of Chairs, either with Range or
other stats. I chose the Royal Huntsman for its
Range Debuff and Attack. The Defense Debuff is a
bonus too 😊
For AP cycle use an Advisor with City Value.
And as all Peace Time stats are covered you can add
a Bonus to X-Bows, to complement your Tower
stats.
(If you do not have an AP cycle use a card you
prefer, Royal Kay, Percival, etc. )
Conclusion: • Decide what you want to do and then check what you have as
cards and jewels.
• Broad approach, with many caps, or specialist approach.
• You do not have to copy this preset, as long as you understand
to build them up, on non battle stats, then battle stats, and then
personal preference.
• The personal preference may vary for each player, maybe you
want to add more battle stats or else.
• Just remember, with this TR I hardly have to change anything, I
can start DF’ing, crest a level 15 barb, attack a wild, Train
troops, etc., and even the last Merc events I had to change
noting and I could crest them straight away. (I was also able to
crest them with this TR with 15k arch + 1 soul)
• Check from time to time your cards when you upgrade them if
items are far over CAP. Then you can adjust with jewels to
obtain other stats.
• Check the caps if unsure! PB+ has a reference tab
• This is in NO WAY to ridicule players and their choices they
made by showing various examples.
• You can be a Chancellor, a VC, an Officer or just a member, but
it is also trivial to help adjust your Alliance members to better
TR’s.
• Very important is that you have Storehouse protection up to
CAP to protect yourself from farming till 0.
• Overall rethink again, your strategy, what you want to
accomplish? Resource production, Training Troops etc.
• Adjust your cards when they get higher, as you see you can
accomplish a lot with just 4 cards and the right jewels!
• Try to look past the specific cards like “bonus Vs” and apply
general stats, you will accomplish more.
• Learn the CAPS or check them regularly!
Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you an edge, or advantage, but
it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have
a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.
More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
