4. Can I extend my stay? Can I take my children?Yes and yes. Rates for an extended stay, or for children staying in the same room as parents vary withthe resort or cruise line. Contact The Journeymasters for the current costs at your chosen destination.

5. What conditions are attached to my airline certificates?For American Airlines, The Journeymasters must make your reservations fourteen (14) days prior toyour departure date and a Saturday night stay is required internationally or to Hawaii. Domestically,a three night stay is required. United Airlines always requires a Saturday night stay. These are the airline’s rules and they will make no exception to their rules. Your airline tickets are sent in the formof airline certificates and must be converted to actual tickets before you travel. Detailed proceduresare below. The Journeymasters will make your reservations with the airline as you instructed and sendyou your Record Locator (confirmation number) in your final letter.

6.Whatwill I need for identification?Whatwillmy children need for identification?For Las Vegas, New York City, Orlando,Walt DisneyWorld, Vail, Hilton Head & Hawaii, all you’llneed is a valid photo ID since you won’t be leaving the USA. For all other destinations (includingcruises) you will be leaving the USA, so you will need a valid passport. If you are flying into the USAfrom any other country, including Canada, you must have a valid passport.

If you are traveling with children: If both parents accompany the child, all you will need for the childis a valid passport. It becomes more complicated if only one parent accompanies the child, or ifsomeone other than the parent accompanies the child. Call The Journeymasters (1-800-875-3422)and they will explain the requirements to you.

Note: Please remember that Canadians will need a Passport to enter the USA and any destinationoutside of Canada & Americans will need a passport to enter Canada and any destination outside ofthe USA.

7. Do I get frequent flyer miles on the airline certificates?Yes. If you are not a member you can enroll right now. Call 1-800-433-7300 for American Airlines’AAdvantage or online at www.aa.com. Call 1-800-421-4655 to enroll in United Airlines’ MileagePlus, or online at www.united.com. (Please call or email us your frequent flyer number.)

8.What restrictions are on my airline certificates?a. They cannot be used for business travel.

b. They cannot be transferred to anyone once issued.

c. No upgrades allowed, even if you wanted to pay for the upgrade.

d. No stopovers allowed, i.e. you cannot stop in another city, and then go on to your final destinationat a later date.

e. They cannot be used for group travel.

f. American Airlines does not allow open-jaw trips, i.e., you have to fly direct from your beginningairport to destination airport and return direct from destination airport to the same airport youstarted from. United Airlines will allow open-jaw trips.

g. The FAA/Department of Transportation now requires all passengers 18 or older to show photoidentification upon check-in for all airline flights. Your ID must match the name on your aircertificate/ticket exactly.

h. Please read certificates thoroughly for all restrictions.

i. Any changes to your air itinerary once your certificates have been exchanged for tickets must bemade directly with the airline. The airline will charge a fee of at least $150 per ticket for thesechanges plus any increase in air fare.

9.What is, and what is not, included with your airline tickets?TICKETING FEEa. The airlines charge a $30 ticketing fee that is collected at the time of ticketing.

b. In some instances (concerning cruises only), there will be a surcharge for the air ticket of (maximum)$100 per ticket. It is rare but when it occurs The Journeymasters will explain it to you.

10.What taxes are and are not included on my airline tickets?U.S. TAXES:U.S. Federal taxes are included in your ticket. However, there are numerous other taxes imposed bythe airlines and airports that are not included. Passenger Facility Fees, Passenger Civil AviationSecurity Charges, Flight SegmentTax, Fuel Surcharges, U.S. Animal & Plant Health Inspection (Feeswill total approximately $50 - $100 as of this writing). The airline ticket agent will collect thesecharges when you exchange your certificates for your airline tickets.

INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DEPARTURE TAXES (IF APPLICABLE):International Taxes will be collected by the airline ticket agent when you exchange your tickets.

11.What are the cancellation and change penalties?Sadly, there are all kinds of penalties in the travel business; some from the airlines, hotels, and cruiselines, and some fromThe Journeymasters. All of them, we’re afraid, are strictly enforced.

AIRLINE CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Once your tickets are printed they are non-refundable. If you want to change the ticket, the airline willcharge a fee of at least $150 per ticket for any changes plus any increase in air fare. If you don’t travelon the scheduled departure date and do not call the airline to change prior to that date, your ticketwill have no value. Note: If you lose your airline certificates they cannot be replaced. Please treat themas valuable, irreplaceable documents, because that is exactly what they are!

HOTEL CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Hotels consider a change in your arrival date to be a cancellation. Cancellation policies vary with eachhotel. Please contact The Journeymasters for specifics.

CARNIVAL CRUISE CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Even if you change your reservation for the same ship for a different date, Carnival considers that acancellation.

• If you cancel 75 to 46 calendar days prior to sailing, a cancellation fee of $250 per personwill be imposed.

• If you cancel 45 to 30 days prior to sailing, a cancellation fee of $1,850 will be imposed.

• If you cancel 29 to 15 days prior to sailing, a cancellation fee of $2,775 will be imposed.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of sailing will forfeit your cruise. There will be no refund.

CRUISE INSURANCEThe cruise lines offer “catastrophe” insurance which covers cancellation in case of extreme emergencysuch as serious illness or death. The cost is $198 per couple for Carnival at the time of this printing.Let us know when you make your reservation if you’d like to purchase cancellation insurance. Note:Cruise insurance does not cover pre-existing medical conditions.

THE JOURNEYMASTERS’ CHANGE & CANCELLATION FEESThe change fee is $50 per person after your reservation has been confirmed. If you cancel your vacationafter your reservations have been confirmed but before the airline or hotel penalties are activated,TheJourneymasters will impose a cancellation fee of $250 per person. So, please spend an extra momentto determine exactly when and where you would like to take your well earned award.

13.What If I Must Cancel MyTrip on aWeekend?If your trip is scheduled to start on a Saturday or Sunday and you must cancel: 1) Call the hotel andairline directly and cancel. 2) Get the agent’s name and the cancellation number. 3) Call us and leavea message or send us an e-mail at gp@journeymasters.com with the cancellation number.

14. Are there Blackout dates?Airlines, cruise lines and some hotels have dates when they will not accept reservations. Blackoutdates are not many, and are usually around the big holidays, Christmas, New Years and Easter, orwhen they expect to be in a sold out position. The folks at The Journeymasters (1-800-875-3422) caneasily tell you if the hotel or cruise you have selected has a blackout date.

15.What is included on my cruise?Each of the Carnival Caribbean Cruises is seven (7) nights—(8) eight days in length. Your awardincludes an Ocean View Stateroom with a Private Balcony on each of the cruises. Also included aretwo round trip coach tickets (actual tickets not certificates) from more than 140 cities in the USA.(Some cities may require an airfare supplement of $100 per person.) Cruise line staff toMeet & Greetyou at the airport and bring you to the pier, and when your cruise is done, return you to the airport.All meals are included for both of you; you may eat eight times a day (if you CAN eat eight times aday).
