Holiday Homecoming featuring The RuggedOur Town Belfast invites the community to shake off their turkey comas and break out their dancing shoes for a post-holiday dance party.
The Milk & Honey Rebellion get the evening started with a fresh mix of danceable covers spanning genres. The Rugged will keep Belfast boogieing late into the night with their unique brand of backwoods voodoo rock. A cash bar catered by Trillium will be available for adults 21+.
This is a great opportunity for friends and family to get together for live music and fun while everyone is in town for the holidays. Tickets are $15 at the door. Proceeds support Our Town Belfast’s mission to grow and sustain a historic downtown.

The event begins at 4:30pm with cookies, cocoa, and caroling from The Belfast Area High School singers. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by Fire Truck before the tree is lit at 5pm. After the lighting, Mr. and Mrs. Claus head indoors to KeyBank for visits and photos with the children.

Friday through Sunday, December 9-11“A Christmas Carol” Live Radio Show performed by the Belfast MaskersBack before television, a holiday season tradition in America was listening to the live radio broadcast of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Originally aired live on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1939, the broadcast, featuring Lionel Barrymore and narrated by Orson Welles with the Mercury Theatre group, became a treasured holiday tradition. The story of Ebenezer Scrooge is of a tightfi sted old man who is haunted one night by the ghosts of his past, present, and future. Shown the results of his selfi sh course, he is given the chance to change and make better, not only his own life, but the lives of others.
The Belfast Maskers will bring this tradition to life on December 9, 10 & 11.Maskers’ A Christmas Carol, Live Old-Time Radio Show, features, live sound effects and carolers. Also featured will be live 1940s style radio ads for local business performed by the radio players. The cast includes Bob Daisy as Ebenezer Scrooge, Cory Burns as the Narrator, Mark Durbin as Bob Cratchit, Michael Lawson as Jacob Marley’s ghost, Sonja Richardson as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Sunny Kirkham as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Steven Wheeler as Tiny Tim.
