Aakash is conducting Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2014. In the fifth year of its existence, this

examination aims to enable the most deserving students to get to their goal of becoming engineers or doctors

by providing them with free coaching*. ANTHE 2014 will select 1000 students (500 top ranking for Engineering

Stream and 500 top ranking for Medical Stream) from class X to give them this once in a lifetime opportunity.

These students will get free coaching from Aakash worth 19 crores. The examination will be held at various

centres spread across the country.

Endocrine), Excretion, Nutrition (Digestion), Respiration in Human Beings

Mathematics :Real Numbers, Polynomials, Triangles, Pair of Linear Equations, Quadratic Equations,

Mensuration, Circles, Quadrilaterals

Mental Ability : Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning - Series, Analogy, Classification, General Logical & AnalyticalReasoning; Problems based on Figures, Coding-Decoding, Data Interpretation

Note: The syllabus of ANTHE has been designed keeping in mind the curriculum taught in class VIII, IX & X at

All India Level.

*Top five rankers of a School from class X can be recommended by the Principal to take the test free of

1Tuition Fee:The Tuition Fee for Two Year Classroom Program is different at various centres of Aakash in the

country. For details, please contact the nearest centre of Aakash.

2Admission Fee: The Total Admission Fee for Two Years Classroom Program is 16854 (inclusive of Service

Tax).

3Registration Fee: The Total Registration Fee for Two Years Classroom Program is 11236 (inclusive of

Service Tax).

Important Instructions

Kindly fill the enclosed ANTHE Registration Form and submit along with your self attested photocopy of

class IX marksheet, 4 passport size photographs and cash / demand draft of 300 in favour of Aakash

Institute. In case mark sheet is not available, students can enroll for ANTHE by submitting a self

attested photocopy of their Identity Card issued by the school.

Last date of receiving duly filled form by post at Registered Office or by hand at nearest Aakash Centre

before 6:00 pm or online submission before 6:00 pm 12th November, 2014 (Wednesday).

ANTHE Registration Form can also be accepted after 12th Nov. 2014 with a late fee of 50 till 17th Nov.

The test will be a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based paper, which will be conducted on Optical

Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet. A Sample OMR sheet is attached with the Sample Paper for your

reference.

The result of successful candidates shall be displayed on our website: www.aakash.ac.in mentioning the

name & rank of the students along with eligible scholarship. Separate merit list will be prepared &

displayed for Medical & Engineering aspirants.

Cash Awards* shall be paid by cheque. It will be paid in the 3rd week of April, 2015 at respective

centres of Aakash or at any other venue as decided by the management.

The merit list for successful candidates will be prepared by listing them in the descending order of the

total marks scored by them. However, there may be ties and such ties will be broken by sequentially

applying the following set of rules :

For Medical aspirants

(i) Student having lesser age

(ii) Student having higher marks in Science

(iii) Student having higher marks in Mathematics

(iv) Student having higher marks in Mental Ability(v) Girl Student

For Engineering aspirants

(i) Student having lesser age

(ii) Student having higher marks in Mathematics

(iii) Student having higher marks in Science

(iv) Student having higher marks in Mental Ability

(v) Girl Student

10.

Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver

If at any point of time, the government decides to charge Service Tax on the scholarship/concession

amount/fee waiver, then the service tax shall be borne by the student / parent / guardian.

11.

Selected candidates will be provided classroom coaching as per the choice of their study centre (at

existing Aakash centres only) but if a student wants to change the study centre, written permission for

the same will have to be taken from the Managing Director.

12.

Hostel Facility is available on a chargeable basis.13.Maximum scholarship for which a student shall be eligible is 100%.14.
