Aim�and�scope�

This�course�deals�with�the�use�of�advanced�analytical�techniques�for�biowaste�research.�The�course�is�practically�oriented,�and�aims�at�giving�the�participants�skills�in�applying�the�techniques�and�methods�in�their�experimental�research.�

This�International�training�course�on�advanced�analytical�techniques�in�biowaste�research�is�an�advanced�course�into�the�project�ReUseWaste�Recovery�and�Use�of�Nutrients,�Energy�and�Organic�Matter�from�Animal�Waste�included�in�the�Marie�Curie�Actions�Initial�Training�Networks�(ITN),�FP7�PEOPLE�2011�ITN,�organized�by�the�Miguel�Hernández�University�(UMH)�and�the�CSIC.����It�is�an�excellent�opportunity�to�achieve�advanced�knowledge�about:��� Characterization�and�use�of�organic�wastes�� Development�of�skills�linked�to�chromatography,�spectrometry,�

thermal�and�fluorescence�analysis�focused�to�key�parameters�for�waste�management�

� Critical�evaluation�of�quality�in�organic�wastes�and�resources�� Use�of�instrumental�techniques�to�assess�the�environmental�hazards�
