Everything made in GermanyWe manufacture our products exclusively at our state-of-the-art production facilities in Filderstadt, Germany, where we have highly trained employees. The adhesive material is produced in one of the most modern coating facilities in the world.

Makers of our own “raw material”HERMA is one of the few label manufacturers that develop and produce the “raw material” for labels: the adhesives.

Certified productionWe are certified by TÜV SÜD according to ISO 9001:2008 for the design, production and sales of labels and adhesives.

Production and logistics

When reliability countsIn production and logistics, labels are indispensable carriers of important information. They control the internal flow of materials and somtimes entire packaging lines via barcodes and QR codes. They have to adhere firmly – even at extreme temperatures, on sea or in dusty conditions.

This is why HERMA labels are used when the going gets tough – even at temperatures of minus 40°C or as hot as 150°. Or when chemicals, oil and dirt are involved.

HERMA Labels made of recycled paper, awarded the Blue Angel ecolabel. Great for the environment and for the climate.That’s because both the label paper and the backing are made exclusively from recycled paper. The natural white label mate-rial is unusually bright, with high purity. The paper fulfills the requirements of DIN 6738 (age resistance). The water-based adhesive is free of plasticizers, acids and solvents, and the packaging is made of recycled cardboard.

Print labels with a colour laser printer? Why not? The printing result depends on the quality of the labels and on having the correct printer settings. We recommend setting the printer driver or printer panel for “heavy materials” (or, depending on the printer, “thick paper”, “thick stock”, “cardboard” or “labels”). It is also wise to put the labels in the single-sheet feed or the stack feed.
