FOR THE AUDITION: ● Prepare 32 bars of a comedic up-tempo song in the same style of the show. ● Bring Sheet Music. An accompanist will be provided. ● Bring a picture and resume and fill out attached audition form.

• Caring and loyal. Always looking out for his friends. The calmer, more zen of both he and Toad. Simultaneously adventurous and assured.

• A hard worker, but impatient for results. Self-conscious. Stubborn. A good friend to Frog. Timid.

Frog But Toad, it’s April

Toad Oh, is it April?

Frog Yes.

Frog But Toad, I will be lonely without you.

Toad Blah

Frog It is a long time until May.

(Frog takes pages off the calendar) Well January is over. March is over. April is almost over.

(Frog gets an idea and rips April off the calendar) Oops! I guess April is over. Toad, It’s May.

Toad Oh My. There is so much to do. I’ve got to clean the house, I’ve got to mulch the yard and I’ve got to have some breakfast. I haven’t eaten since January. FROOOOOOG

Frog Yes Toad?

Frog What is it?

Toad You know, I was just thinking; that extra month of sleep really makes a difference.

How will we know when it’s time to take the cookie’s out?

Mouse Hiya Toad.

Toad Oh Hello Mouse.

Mouse Is something wrong?

Toad Yes. I’m making cookies.

Mouse And?

Toad Well I made the cookies dough precisely according to the recipe. But now the recipe says “put the cookies in the oven to bake them for seven to eight minutes until they are golden Brown”.

Mouse And?

Toad My clock is broken.
