Dear Friends,

This 2012 Year In Review is a celebration of the remarkable

achievements of the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation, Inc. Since its

inception in 2010, over 100 talented teenagers have benefitted from

more than $5 MILLION in college scholarships awarded by the NYC

Dance Alliance Foundation – through generous assistance from our

college partners, corporate sponsors and grass roots supporters all across

the United States.

I am humbled by the gracious backing NYCDAF continues to receive.

It demonstrates that we collectively recognize the need to both promote and invest

in the education of young artists. I am also encouraged by the enthusiastic grass

roots funding we are receiving from local dance studios across the United States.

This is a united effort. Special thanks must go to our 2012 College Partners:

University of the Arts (PA), Marymount Manhattan University (NY), Point Park University

(PA), Mercyhurst College (PA) and Dean College (MA).

I thank each of you for your generous support. Together, we will change the lives of

many young artists and help shape the future of dance. The overall potential of what

can be accomplished is incredible!

NYCDAF conducts two online auctions per year: a summer auction in July and a holiday auction in early December. Bids come in from across

the country.

Proceeds from the 2012 auctions exceeded $30,000.

This fundraising campaign invites dance studios across the country to ‘join the club’ by fundraising $500

from May 1-June 30th.

In 2012, over 60 studios participated raising more than $34,000.
