State-of-the-art manufacturing

Quality is a matter of expertise and precision. Tight tolerances and consistent accuracy ensure predictable heat transfer efficiency and consistent high-end quality. That’s why we use cutting edge technology in our manufacturing.

Quality assured factories in the US, Sweden and IndiaWe have manufacturing plants in the US, Sweden and India. Smaller units are also being assembled locally at our sales companies around the world. Thus, your heat exchanger is manufactured at the location that is most favourable.

All three plants are ISO 9001 certified, providing the highest possible standards in design, manufacture and testing. We are a certified holder of the ASME U-stamp and a member of HTRI, HTFS, ARI, ASHRAE, and other official bodies. We have pressure vessel approval for self-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/28/EC (PED). The designs are also approved by all major marine registers.

Rigorous quality routines Every step in production follows rigorous quality routines leaving nothing to chance. Raw materials are subject to quality inspection. Measurements and metallurgical properties are thoroughly analysed. Automated plate presses with high precision tools ensure complete plate uniformity from series to series.

The heat exchanger is tested after assembly to meet the customer’s exact specification. The test results are incorporated in a data bank that is a valuable source of information. Before packing and shipping, there is one last check. Our workmanship is without compromise.

Service and maintenance that pays off in many waysFew things are more expensive than an unscheduled shutdown. The cost is often quite unnecessary since a great deal can be foreseen and dealt with before catastrophe becomes a reality. All that is needed is a little advance planning. Gaskets age. If they are replaced in time you avoid both leakage and resulting damage. Plates get dirty. The coating affects heat transfer and reduces performance. In serious cases, excessive pressure drops can cause problems.

Periodic maintenanceScheduled shutdowns and preventative maintenance are less disruptive and prolong the life of the exchanger. At the same time, operating efficiency is improved. That’s a very useful combination!

Why not let us analyse your heat exchangers, look at their operating environment and condition, and draw up a maintenance plan. We can propose a service contract or agree that every visit should be booked separately. The important thing is that you get a grip on things before they become a problem.

Sometimes more than routine maintenance is neededAre your plates getting so dirty that it isn’t possible to clean them on-site? In that case we will bring them to one of our Service Centers where we can clean them and put on new gaskets. The plates are also thoroughly inspected and checked to the original specifications. After a final hydrostatic test they are packed and shipped.

The CIP unit, together with our cleaning fluids, facilitates cleaning of the plates in an efficient and careful manner, without reassembling of the plate heat exchanger.
