Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

United Catholic Movement Pray Learn - Invite

We have been praying for our

brothers and sisters who no longer

    aend Mass regularly or pracce

the Catholic faith. You are encour-

    aged to remember Catholics you

know who do not pracce the

Catholic faith in prayer by placing their names (or inials) on a

slip of paper at the UCM display in front of church. Add the slip

of paper to the others in the large vase on the display table.

Put your prayer into acon by inving an inacve Catholic(s) to

join us at Mass, even promise to accompany them. Very o+en,

these persons are only waing for an invitaon. If they have

been away from the Church for a long me, our parish staff will

help reacquaint them or assist them any way they would find

helpful. Just contact the rectory at www.stjosephcoldspring.com

or 859 441 1604. Parishioners who have signed up as UCM am-

bassadors will be called on to provide a welcome and hospitality.

    Memorial Hall faceli

You may have heard Memorial Hall is being refurbished. The

Parent Teacher Organizaon and a generous anonymous dona-

on are making this possible. The GROW Fund and regular par-

ish operaons money are not being used for this project.

The GROW Fund is being used to re-seal the enre parking lot

this summer. Recently, both the commercial grade refrigerator

and the air condioning in Kelley Hall broke down in the same

week and glass in the church door broke. The GROW Fund is

intended for planned maintenance and emergencies like these.

We are also building the elevator fund with GROW Funds and

    DPAA rebates.

Happily, the PTO fund raising for Memorial Hall renovaons and

the anonymous donaon made its renovaon possible sooner

than planned. Memorial Hall will be painted (not mauve well

let you be surprised by the color) and new bathroom parons,

blinds and a new floor to be installed. These should be finished

in me for the fesval. The ceiling les will be replaced some

    me later.

Were extremely grateful to the PTO and the team of women

who have worked relessly to get this project underway. The

Parish Maintenance and Development Commiee also deserves

thanks for its guidance. We are truly blessed to have a nice hall

for our large parish gatherings, but the greater blessing is parish-

ioners who commit themselves to the good care and steward-

ship of our facilies for the benefit of the whole parish commu-

    nity.

Your pastor and brother in Christ,

    Fr. Gerry Reinersman
