A REPORT ON HARMONY 2018 (16th February 2018)

S. N. Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre (Degree College) is a premiere institution

approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated with

Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad, Gujarat imparting technical education offering

degree engineering courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer & EC.

It is said “Education begins the moment we see students as innately wise and capable beings”. And

so was the time when S. N. Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre on 16th of February 2k18

keeping the above quote in mind celebrated 'HARMONY 2k18' , an event with a belief of holistic

development of students. The entire college participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this

grand event. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of Honorable Trustees Shree

The Chief Guest Shree Vineet Kumar, an eminent scientist working as Site Director at Kakrapar, Gujarat

Site was the esteemed guest of honor. The panel of dignitaries inaugurated the event with a lamp

lightning. And the event started off with a prayer dance. It was then followed by a video called

'SMRUTI' showcasing the memories of past events. All the distinguished excellences and guests were

felicitated.

Shree Vineet Kumar, emphasized on importance of education among underprivileged strata of society

and thus boosted students' morale to come up with flying colors. It was then preceded by Respected

Principal - Dr. Neeraj Sharma who acknowledged the efforts of the students and faculties and thanked

the esteemed guests for sparing their precious time to the function. In order to give a hike and respect

to the evening, all stood and sang national anthem together.

Thereon, students meticulously presented their talents in form of dance and few of them played musical

instruments to bring symphony to life. But the highlight of the evening turned out to be the melodious

songs sung by sensational singers of the college who energized the atmosphere in the uttermost way.

Prize distribution ceremony was not only conducted to recognize the talent of students in various fields

like academics , art, culture, sports etc. but also to honor the extra- ordinary contribution of various

faculties. The stupendous fashion show in last was heart - throbbing and a pleasure to watch.
