“URRIKO AZKEN ASTELEHENA”

The “Urriko Azken Astelehena” is a very important day for people that live in Gernika and for all the people in the Basque Country. We usually celebrate this day in the last Monday of October. It is a very important day because lots of farmers go to Gernika to sell their stuff. On this day you can find: cheese, basque cakes, fruits, vegetables, garden tools… All the sellers wear traditional Basque clothes and all the streets of Gernika get full of people.
