A shameful experience

When I was kid, I never feel embarrassed. I didn’t know why.

When I was doing something I thought that’s normal but some people

say it’s strange and shameful.

I remember one story. Now when someone tell me again about

that story I feel so embarrassing because the story illustrate that

when I was kid I don’t have embarrassed feel. This is my story.

One day when I was years old and lived in a village, my aunty

came in my home. !t the time in my home had a party so there many

food but my aunty want salted fish to her lunch and my mommy told me

to asked about the salted fish in my neighbor. "ecause I was a diligent

child so I went to my neighbor’s home who sold eggs and asked about

the salted fish but my neighbor say # I’am sorry kid, I don’t have

salted fish. "ut I have some eggs. $o you want to e%change salted fish

with some eggs & ' I agreed to e%changed it without think aboutmoney. !rrived home I gave the eggs to my mommy and told her that

my neighbor gave me the eggs because she didn’t have salted fish.

!fter I said the words everyone in that room was laughing, I was

confusing what made them laugh like that but I (ust thought maybe

something funny happened before I came.

!t the time I (ust think how to make my aunty happy and can eat

everything she want in my village. "ut you know what& )y aunty (ust

made some (oking to distract me and without I know in tomorrow

morning my mommy came to my neighbor’s home for pay the eggs . Oh

my *od it’s so embarrassing. +oor me .
