It’s being done: N9FEB's communications trailer used at many Marion County events to support amateur radio communications

12 ft long, 6 ft. wide, 6 ft. high V nose front, antenna mast mount

On the inside

Movable window, banquet table bench, equipment shelf and storage.

On the inside

• This unit has portable heating and cooling units that are removable from the trailer.

The tables are of the fold down catering type and are secured to the floor with conduit straps.

The shelf is standard closet shelving with a Plexiglas runner on top and a carpet remnant covers the plywood floor.

DC lighting and AC Power Distribution

12 V Under shelf lighting 110 volt access. AC panel 30 Amp and 2 - 20 Amp

DC Power

3 battery systems and isolator provides noise elimination and uniform charging

1. Single axel trailer: 10 by 6 by 6 ; side door and dual rear doors; flow through vents and windows on the road and off road sides $6,500.

2. Materials for insulation, shelving, seating, storage, lighting, heating, cooling, power distribution and wiring$3,500.

Budgetary Operational Costs

1. Insurance: Collision, theft and vandalism.

• Trailer acquisition: 12 weeks from order.• Project management plan within 30 days of approval.• Materials and equipment to outfit the unit are all locally

available upon demand.• Installation of materials and equipment 20 man days.• Volunteer work parties to acquire and stage materials

and equipment from April to 4rd week in June.• Target for first use: Field Day 2012, June 23rd and 24th.
