Central Florida FoundationHOMELESS IMPACT FUND
• Creating a platform for investment in evidenced-based strategies to change the course of homelessness in Central Florida, including permanent supportive housing and wrap-
around services.
• Goals: ending chronic homelessness and significantly impacting family homelessness through investments from local governments, individuals, private foundations and corporations in Central Florida
• Transforming lives through the largest commitment to housing for the homeless in the history of our region.
Homeless Impact FundPurpose
• Create a “performance-based grant making market” with measureable outcomes for chronic homelessness – then family homelessness
• Attract private and public capital to pay for performance and build capacity, creating a new public sector focus on evidence-based performance
• Collect data to share with the community, donors, and grant makers providing opportunities for match grants to projects
• Provide incentive to attract more HUD money
Goals for 2015• Implement the first stage of our plan for the
chronically homelessness• Finalize regional strategy and create resources
for families who are homeless• Offer focused help for veterans still on the
streets • Improve housing options for those homeless due
to domestic violence• Create more public/private resources for all
types of homelessness.
