THE EVENT CENTRE

With this space, the world is your oyster. You can be as creative as you wish, as it is the perfect canvas to transform into your nuptial oasis. One of Australia’s most technologically advanced venues, The Star Event Centre offers state-of-the-art sound, LED lighting and restaurant-quality dining – perfect for weddings. The foyer also has the ability to cater for pre-drinks and canapés before guests enter Reception Space, with its impressive

12-metre high ceilings that enable the creation of the most spectacular soirée.

SOKYO

Award-winning chef Chase Kojima draws on his Japanese training to create an impeccable union

of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary flavours that are sure to delight your guests. Sokyo features slick black polished wood, dark modern tones and fish scale textures. This hyper-modern Japanese theme is carried through to oversized anime graphics placed over the main bar. This venue is uniquely edgy and dripping with style.

BLACK BAR AND GRILL

BLACK Bar & Grill perfectly marries a contemporary Australian grill and rotisserie with a stylish wine bar and million-dollar views of Sydney Harbour and the city. Chef Dany Karam creates classically inspired menus influenced by contemporary European cuisine. The main restaurant dining room is sleek and streamlined, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Liberal use of marble, warm timber tones, flattering lighting and copper highlights create an inviting ambiance to engage the senses.

LOCATE US

The Star Sydney is located at 80 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont, NSW. Grand Foyer and Port Cohere can be entered from Jones Bay Road. The most convenient location for entry to the Event Centre can be found on Pirrama Road.

CAR PARKING

All parking is subject to availability. Guests can park in the secure underground parking at The Star. Charges apply. Entry points to Parking can be accessed via Edward Street and Pirrama Road.

TRANSPORT

The Star is in the heart of Pyrmont, walking distance from the CBD (15 Minutes) and Darling Harbour (5 Mins). Guests can arrive to the Star via the Sydney Bus Network or the Light Rail Network which stops at The Star.

EVENT STYLING

The Star welcomes the use of external event stylists to organise the setup of your event.
