DAY 4: EGUM ATOLL Egum Atoll is an unforgettable experience - snorkel, dive and then visit a village on of the atoll’s low islands, where locals will share their creation legends. DAY 5: LAUGHLAN (BUDIBUDI) ISLANDS These islands are home to a rich tradition of canoe building, which you will see under construction. Enjoy a warm welcome and the possibility of another swim or snorkel. DAY 6: GHIZO ISLAND, SOLOMONS Our first Solomons landfall is the town of Gizo. Wander through the markets, and later snorkel and dive over vibrant Njari Reef. DAY 7: TETEPARE We visit Tetepare, a mysterious abandoned island now protected by a unique conservation project run by the Tetepare Descendant’s Association. You may witness the huge variety of wildlife here including turtles, hornbills, dugongs, and dolphins. DAY 8: ARNAVON ISLANDS Visit Kerehikapa Island, part of the Arnavon Community Marine Conservation Area, and see turtle hatchlings emerge from their nests on the beach. Visit Kia village for dancing and singing. DAY 9: MAROVO LAGOON This wonder of nature is famous for exceptional snorkelling and diving. Visit the villages here and see the remarkable wood carvings inlaid with mother-of-pearl. DAY 10: EXPEDITION STOP, RUSSELL ISLANDS Enjoy an expedition stop for snorkelling at remote islands. DAY 11: MANGALONGA & SAVO ISLAND Experience a birdwatching walk on Mangalonga Island, or snorkel and dive on the vibrant reef. DAY 9: MILLION DOLLAR POINT, ESPIRITU SANT0Snorkel and dive over millions of dollars of dumped WWII equipment, where wreckage has turned to reef. Nearby, the SS President Coolidge provides spectacular advanced diving.
DAY 10: NGUNA ISLANDRelax on the white sand beaches of Nguna Island, enjoy a volcano walk, or snorkel in the stunning coral gardens of the Nguna-Pele Marine Protected Area.
DAY 11: TANNA ISLANDEnjoy a drive through the forest and up the slopes of Mt Yasur, one of Vanuatu’s active volcanoes. A short walk brings you to the rim, with once-in-a-lifetime views of the smoking caldera.
