    Welcome from our

    Chairman…

Good evening and welcome to Little Waltham

Drama Group’s ‘A Night at the Movies.

June, Chrissy and the cast, band and crew have

spent months perfecting this evening of music.

We know you will enjoy hearing songs which

remind you of good times in the cinema.

We would also like to wish Ryan Chapman the best of luck as

he embarks on to university in September. He has been a

valued member of the group for several years now and we

await his return eagerly after finishing his degree.

I would like to thank our loyal sponsors and ask that you

support them. Tell them you saw their adverts in our

programme, it’s certain to delight them.

We are always on the lookout for new members so why

    not join us? Actors, singers, dancers, back stage crew;

whatever you think suits you. We have room for

everyone! Visit our website www.lwdg.org or call me

    on 01245-361193.

  • Directors’ words

Good evening and welcome to this performance of ‘A Night at the Movies’. We would like to thank the cast for rising to the challenge of learning some difficult songs in this show under the excellent direction of Rebekah Walker, who threw herself wholeheartedly into the demanding role of Musical Director. We hope you will agree with us that the results justify all their hard work over the past few months. Thanks are also due to Liz Jones and Kim Travell for their wonderful choreography and unswerving patience in conveying it to the rest of the cast. You will see all of these hard-working ladies in tonight’s performance. And where would we be without our very talented musicians? – Dave Perry on piano and Trevor Lee on drums, who have played for several of our recent productions, and this time are accompanied by Kevin Jones, adding the bass note on guitar. Their dedication to the music, from the very first rehearsal for Dave and Trev, has brought all the singing and dancing together beautifully. Thank you, too, to all the ‘behind the scenes’ people, who you, our audience, never see, but all of whom do a sterling job in ‘making it all work’ so smoothly. And last, but by no means least, thank you to all of you for coming to see the show. We hope to bring you many happy memories from films, old and new. June & Chrissy
