A NEW LOOK AT AFFIRMATIONS Presented by Wendy Guffey, MA, LISAC
THOUGHTS HAVE POWER

American Psychologist

Masaru Emoto (born in 1943)
Masaru Emoto, a Japanese
author and entrepreneur,
claims that human
consciousness has an effect
on the molecular structure of water.
The Hidden Message in Water
Masaru heard that no two snowflakes are the same and therefore wondered if the same were true about water.
He developed the instrumentation to take pictures of water crystals.
He found that thoughts have an impact on water.

Our Bodies, Thoughts & Words
Our bodies are about 70% water.
Our thoughts and words affect water.
Therefore, we are affected by our thoughts and the
words we use.
Applied kinesiology uses this principle and acts as a lie
detector without a person needing to be hooked up
to a machine.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
This man said that up to now we have
been wrong. There is no such thing
as matter; it is all energy.
“I believe that the electro-magnetic
movement of the energy is what allows
us to communicate with water. It
doesn’t matter whether we think
something, say it, write it or feel it – it
creates a resonance and impacts other
things in the world.”
Dr. Marcel Vogel (1917-1991) • A research scientist for IBM’s San Jose facility for 27 years.
• After retirement he created his own laboratory, Psychic Research, Inc.
• The lab was dedicated to the study of subtle forces and energies that radiate from the body of living forms.
• He studied quartz crystals and created a faceted crystal known as the Vogel-cut ® crystal. The Vogel-cut ® crystal is an instrument that serves to store, amplify, convert and cohere subtle energies.
• He developed the instrumentation to take a picture of a thought as it leaves the brain.
“Creating Consciously” Developed by michael ryce
One part of “Creating
Consciously” is using
affirmations in a way
that is effective in
producing the results a
person is hoping for and
shows why the old way
of simply saying an
affirmation over and
over again doesn’t
work.
Brain=Computer
The brain is like a computer with various file folders
that holds our thoughts and beliefs.

• Biases
Affirmations They are catalysts to surface the buried biases
and beliefs.
They are positive statements.
But how do we know if the particular affirmation is
a good one to produce change?
How it works Choose your issue and write about it or have a partner listen to you.
For example – work on money issues
Write or share your most negative thought about money. Then write or share your affirmation about money. For example – you may say “I make twice as much money as I can spend”.
You know you have a good affirmation if there is a part of you that says, “Who am I kidding?” or “No way!”
How it works Write down all the thoughts that come up as you say your affirmation.
If you are working with a partner, share your affirmation and then try to
convince your partner that your affirmation is true.
Switch and have your partner try to convince you that your affirmation
is true.
Once you surface your biases/beliefs related to your affirmation,
BREATHE AND RELEASE THEM...
Thank you
