We’ve spent years developing a seating system that is superior to anything else in its class because we know the Jive M2 Sedeo Ergo’s top of the range power base needs a market-leading seating solution to match. Good posture and superior comfort - the seating system on the Sedeo Ergo achieves this by perfectly mirroring the body’s natural movement, so that when you transition from different positions, such as seated to lie down, your head doesn’t lose contact with the headrest, your feet maintain contact with the footrest and your laterals don’t migrate into an uncomfortable and unsupportive position. This ensures minimal friction between yourself and the backrest, so you’re always sitting comfortably.

It also means that when you transition from lie down into seated you maintain an optimal sitting position without slipping down. This is due to the seat going through a trajectory position which keeps your pelvis stable and allows gravity to pull your body to the back of the seat to ensure you’re always in the correct seated position.

The premium headrest can easily be adjusted or removed. 1 All seat widths 2 and depths 3 of the Sedeo Ergo are infinitely adjustable with just one tool. Also, the seat and backrest width 4 can be adjusted independently of each other. Even the armrest height 5 and angle adjustment are just as simple to adjust too.

// ANTI-SHEAR BACK

The seat cushion is divided into three elements. The two patented lateral side cushions can be swung-out and lifted off. This ensures a comfortable transfer position in and out of the chair. The middle part can be substituted with a JAY cushion.

The biomechanical anti-shear back reduces friction between the user’s back and the backrest to prevent skin breakdown. It also allows the headrest to maintain the correct position during backrest recline.
