Dear President: This letter is in regards to the million Dollars Contest. We are a non profit organization called CASA. It’s in our best interest to win the money. Above we are sending you a brief explanation, to show you what are we all about and what is our needs. Honestly, the more funding CASA has, the more children we can serve. As you can see in the annual report, Hudson County CASA served 247 children who were in foster care during the 2018 Fiscal Year. There are a few different ways we could spend that money to be able to serve more children. First of all, we would love to purchase a larger office with space for training and information sessions. We would love to have more parking so our volunteers do not have to pay to park when they attend court hearings. We would also love to have more storage space because we often have organizations and people who want to donate items for our children, but we have very limited storage space in our current office. Also, we could advertise CASA in more places to recruit more volunteers. All of the CASA programs in New Jersey have been looking into larger advertising campaigns, but have been unable to follow through due to expensive prices on often viewed advertising space. The more we get the CASA name and mission out there, the more volunteers we would have available to serve the children of Hudson County. If we get this money we have a mission. These Money will benefit every CASA Organization across the Nation. We will develop a better system to accommodate Every child in weed. A MILLION DOLLARS for A MILLION DREAMS

Dear President:

This letter is in regards to the million Dollars Contest.

We are a non profit organization called CASA. It’s in our best interest to win

the money. Above we are sending you a brief explanation, to show you what are we all

about and what is our needs.

Honestly, the more funding CASA has, the more children we can serve. As you can see in

the annual report, Hudson County CASA served 247 children who were in foster care

during the 2018 Fiscal Year. There are a few different ways we could spend that money to

be able to serve more children. First of all, we would love to purchase a larger office with

space for training and information sessions.

We would love to have more parking so our volunteers do not have to pay to

park when they attend court hearings. We would also love to have more storage space

because we often have organizations and people who want to donate items for our children,

but we have very limited storage space in our current office. Also, we could advertise

CASA in more places to recruit more volunteers.

All of the CASA programs in New Jersey have been looking into larger

advertising campaigns, but have been unable to follow through due to expensive prices on

often viewed advertising space. The more we get the CASA name and mission out there,

the more volunteers we would have available to serve the children of Hudson County. If

we get this money we have a mission.

These Money will benefit every CASA Organization across the Nation. We will develop a

better system to accommodate Every child in weed.

children.

• In 1977, by Seattle Judge David Soukup, he is a person

who was always involved in this social problem, he saw

the need to help these vulnerable children and be their

voice.

That's why every dollar donated is so important

because this organization has many programs in

NJ. CASA of NJ provides support to community-

based CASA programs in NJ, primarily via pass-

through funding, training, public education, and

technical assistance. Additionally, it provides a

forum for local CASA programs to share

resources, improve their programs, and unify

CASA's voice on behalf of children in foster care

statewide.

WHY CASA . . .

• There are many reasons why we should give charity and particularly one associated with

Children. Donating to noble causes not only benefits the charities themselves, but it can

be rewarding for us too.

Other than a human gesture, recent studies

show that Millennials have driven the

responsibility movement; therefore they are

likely to spend more with brands that

support causes. Millennials do represent a

big percentage in spending power and his

might be powerful for our company’s sales.

• By donating money to CASA

(Court Appointed Special

Advocates) we can inspire

employees, and communities.

• With this contribution we will

help children meet their basic

needs and also train volunteer

advocates to look our for the

best interests of children. In the

end, abused and neglected

children will have a chance to

thrive.
