A Mexican celebration, Dia de los Muertos is a day to celebrate departed loved ones. It begins on October 31 when according to the
celebration the spirits arrive; and ends on November 2 when the spirits leave
To celebrate, the family makes alters on which they place yellow marigolds, incense, candles, offerings of food, “and most importantly a picture of the departed”
