In the Balkans

Most often, DHNs are existing but need important modernisation which can be done with a private partner through a concession, a privatisation, a lease or a management contract

• Modernisation of the production: more efficient, more green, less CO2 emission

• Modernisation of the network: replacement of pipes, substations…

• Modernisation of users installation: development of smart grid, energy efficiency measures, isolation of buildings…

85% of distributed heat is generated from waste heat recovery and renewable energy.
