It is exciting to be a part of the rapid growth Lewis Clark Credit Union has experienced over the last couple of years. Our unprecedented progress couldn’t have been achieved without YOU, our LCCU team. By LCCU team I mean all of us, our hard-working staff, our talented Board of Directors, our loyal Supervisory Committee, and our dedicated Members. Together with our belief in LCCU, we are outpacing our peers in growth and building the Credit Union’s net worth foundation. Our high loan to share ratio allows us to offer members higher savings dividend rates and lower loan interest rates. Currently, our five branch offices serve nearly 13,000 members. One of the key components of our growth was the successful merger with Clearwater Credit Union in Lewiston. This merger increased our financial strength, enabling us to offer improved services to all members. Our focus is your future. I am honored and humbled to share that in our recent member survey, 95% of our members stated: “LCCU is my favorite place to do my banking”. In addition, nine out of ten members reported that they are greeted courteously, we offer the services they need, and they are proud to be LCCU members. Providing convenient, value-oriented, quality products and services, delivered with exceptional member service, continues to be our top priority. We believe that this commitment to our membership will continue to allow us to be our members’ favorite financial institution. LCCU is actively involved in over a dozen charitable events and organizations. Over the last two years alone, we have donated nearly $100,000 to local charities, organizations and community events. Our philosophy of giving back makes me feel especially honored to be a part of the LCCU family. I have always loved this quote by Winston Churchill “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” At LCCU we give back not only by helping our members build a strong financial future but also through of our com- mitment to helping our community. As we transition into a new year, I would like to say a “Thank You!” to our amazing staff. Their hard work providing outstanding service to our ever-growing membership is applaudable. I am continually impressed by their dedication to serving members and our community in meaningful ways. Whether it’s advising a member on ways to strengthen their credit score, volunteering for a community project, or simply performing an act of kindness, our staff goes above and beyond each and every day. I’d also like to recognize and thank our volunteer Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee who have dedicated countless hours to our Credit Union. It is largely because of them that LCCU runs smoothly and positions itself for continued growth. Lastly, we wouldn’t be LCCU without YOU, our members. It is exciting to be a part of the rapid

growth Lewis Clark Credit Union has

experienced over the last couple of

years. Our unprecedented progress

couldn’t have been achieved without

YOU, our LCCU team. By LCCU team

I mean all of us, our hard-working

staff, our talented Board of Directors,

our loyal Supervisory Committee,

and our dedicated Members.

Together with our belief in LCCU,

we are outpacing our peers in growth

and building the Credit Union’s net

worth foundation. Our high loan to

share ratio allows us to offer members

higher savings dividend rates and

lower loan interest rates.

Currently, our five branch offices

serve nearly 13,000 members. One

of the key components of our growth

was the successful merger with

Clearwater Credit Union in Lewiston.

This merger increased our financial

strength, enabling us to offer

improved services to all members.

Our focus is your future.

I am honored and humbled to share

that in our recent member survey,

95% of our members stated: “LCCU is

my favorite place to do my banking”.

In addition, nine out of ten members

reported that they are greeted

courteously, we offer the services

they need, and they are proud to

be LCCU members. Providing

convenient, value-oriented, quality

products and services, delivered

with exceptional member service,

continues to be our top priority.

We believe that this commitment

to our membership will continue

to allow us to be our members’

favorite financial institution.

LCCU is actively involved in over

a dozen charitable events and

organizations. Over the last two

years alone, we have donated

nearly $100,000 to local charities,

organizations and community

events. Our philosophy of giving

back makes me feel especially

honored to be a part of the LCCU

family. I have always loved this quote

by Winston Churchill “We make a

living by what we get, but we make

a life by what we give.” At LCCU we

give back not only by helping our

members build a strong financial

future but also through of our com-

mitment to helping our community.

As we transition into a new year,

I would like to say a “Thank You!”

to our amazing staff. Their hard work

providing outstanding service to our

ever-growing membership is

applaudable. I am continually

impressed by their dedication to

serving members and our

community in meaningful ways.

Whether it’s advising a member on

ways to strengthen their credit score,

volunteering for a community

project, or simply performing an act

of kindness, our staff goes above and

beyond each and every day.

I’d also like to recognize and thank

our volunteer Board of Directors and

Supervisory Committee who have

dedicated countless hours to our

Credit Union. It is largely because of

them that LCCU runs smoothly and

positions itself for continued growth.

Lastly, we wouldn’t be LCCU without

YOU, our members. Thank you

for trusting us with your financial

future. We are proud to be your

favorite financial institution.

Together we not only make our

Credit Union a stronger organization,

but we make our community a better

place to live and work!

Kindest regards,

Trisha Baker, President/CEO

It is my pleasure to report

that 2017 was on trend with

2016 and continued to be

a prosperous year for Lewis

Clark Credit Union. The

continued growth we saw

in loans, assets and

membership was a result of

the decisions made by our

dedicated Board of Directors

and the trust granted to us

by our members. The merger

with Clearwater Credit

Union and the opening of

new branch offices proved

to be positive for the

organization and has opened

membership opportunities

to many more throughout

our communities.

I am profoundly proud

of LCCU’s continued

involvement with

community organizations

as well. Our staff, board and

members gave hundreds

of hours of their time

participating in activities

and events that touched

the lives of hundreds of

community members.

Varied organizations from

the Boys & Girls Club to The

Jackson Baldwin Foundation

to the Children’s Miracle

Network were recipients

of time, money and effort

from LCCU volunteers. It’s

heartwarming to see LCCU

take such pride in our

community.

In 2017, the Board of

Directors spent time with

management to plan for the

Credit Union’s future,

and we look forward to

implementing our ideas

which will benefit every

member. I truly appreciate

all the time and effort the

dedicated, volunteer Board

of Directors spend to ensure

the Credit Union continues

to grow, reach our financial

goals and remains a place

where members can go

for solid financial support.

I also want to extend a

special thank you to our

Supervisory Committee for

all of their hard work and

dedication too. Our Credit

Union wouldn’t be strong

without a strong Board of

Directors and Supervisory

Committee - so many

thanks to each and every

one of them!

The dedicated staff at

every one of our branches

deserves a big thank you

as well. They work each day

to make sure our members

receive outstanding service

and are able to reach their

financial goals.

And of course, LCCU

wouldn’t exist without

our members, so thank

YOU for your loyalty and

your continued trust in us!

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

The Supervisory Committee acts as a steward on behalf

of all Credit Union members and met monthly during

2017. The Supervisory Committee is tasked with

reviewing Credit Union operations, evaluating internal

controls, evaluating the Credit Union’s financial condition,

and making sure all federal and state regulations,

procedures, and policies are properly followed as

defined by the Idaho Department of Finance and the

National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

One of the most important functions of the Supervisory

Committee is to oversee an annual audit of the Credit

Union’s financial condition and internal accounting

procedures. The accounting firm of Eide Bailly, Inc. of

Boise, Idaho, completed an annual audit during 2017 and

reported the Credit Union to be in good financial condition

and operating in compliance with state and federal laws.

The Idaho Department of Finance performed a regularly

scheduled safety and soundness examination in April 2017.

It is the opinion of the Supervisory Committee that the

policies established by the Board of Directors contribute

to sound management practices, and Credit Union staff

and management are operating effectively, efficiently

and in a manner consistent with safeguarding the

membership’s interests.

The committee is appointed by the Board of Directors and

is comprised entirely of volunteers from the membership.

If you are interested in serving on the Supervisory

Committee, please contact Trisha Baker.

The Supervisory Committee thanks all members and

others who have devoted time and effort to the success

of Lewis Clark Credit Union. Any member with concerns

about the Credit Union is encouraged to contact anyone

on the Supervisory Committee.

our members. The financial growth and strength of Lewis Clark Credit Union is a testament to the loyalty and support that you,

our members, show us each year. We are positive the Credit Union will remain strong and growing for many years to come with

your continued support.
