If you are able, please watch this video, Nina Ananiashvili, Nina Kotova, Lil Buck- Saint-Saens, The Swan This video shows two different styles of dance (jookin and ballet) both performed to The Swan. Here is a video of just Lil Buck performing the same song. If you are able to log into Quaver through the Launchpad, go to Apps in the bottom left corner and then QDancer to explore two different types of dance. (Your computer will need FLASH capabilities) If you cannot get into it, that is ok, just compare the two styles looking for similarities and differences.
Listen to a favorite song and describe what you hear using music words such as fast/slow, loud/quiet, high/ low. For older students, use expressive terms such as Dynamics: forte, piano, crescendo, decrescendo, Tempo: Presto, Allegro, Largo.
Close your eyes and listen to music from a cartoon or movie. Can you tell what is happening? How does it make you feel? If you are able, follow this link to Quaver and enter code: U7T8K2 or log into Quaver via Launchpad, go to Creatives, and then SoundFX. Create your own SoundFX to go with a video.

their feelings. Here is a short video by Flocabulary to watch if you would like. Building Empathy for Kids Or: Read a story with your child. Talk about how the characters feel. If there is a conflict between the characters, stop reading and try to find a solution that both characters would like. Finish the book. Were the characters happy at the end? Why or why not?
Try this challenge: Work together to build a bridge with materials found around your house. You could use Legos, building blocks, paper, cardboard, or even toothpicks and tape. When you feel you have a sturdy bridge, test it by putting things of different weights on it. Empathy Questions: How did you feel building the bridge? Do you like working together? How would it be different if you were not using teamwork? Did everyone listen to each other's ideas? How do you feel when others listen to you? How do people feel when you listen to them?

Ve a Pebble Go en Launchpad.
Test: The Tower of London
Ve a Pebble Go en Launchpad.
