The Facts
2
• A 2003 GAO study (GAO-03-753) states that corrosion costs the US Military at least $20 Billion per year
• The Army’s 2,450 Force Modernization helicopters had degraded readiness due to maintenance on corrosion-related faults (GAO-03-753)
• Cost of Corrosion for Army Rotorcraft Fleet is $1.28 Billion per year (Aviation Today December 3, 2008)
• Corrosion mitigation is the largest controllable maintenance cost in the US Military (GAO-03-753)
• Traditional methods of corrosion protection proved ineffective, costly and cumbersome (tarps/shrink wraps/dehumidification systems)
Envelop Covers overcome equipment degradation caused by corrosion

• Envelop Protective Covers were designed in conjunction with the US Military to protect weapons, electrical components, optics, and critical equipment from the harshest environments
• US Navy Small Business Research Grant (SBIR) • Reduces degradation caused by Moisture, Heat, UV, Dust and Debris
• Up to 90% reduction in corrosion• 100% UV protection• Maintains equipment within 11% or less of ambient temperature• Reduces dust and sand build up by up to 95%

Results – USAF Sheltering Study
•One year long independent study•Compared shelters, vinyl covers and Envelop Covers•Envelop nearly 20 times as effective as shelters•Envelop more than 10 times as effective as vinyl covers

The Tests
With Envelop Cover Standard Maintenance
• Camp Lejeune, NC • 30 day side by side validation
M198 Howitzer
The Results
10
• Tested and Validated by US Navy, USMC, US Air Force, and US Army• The only cover on all topside weapons and equipment (US Navy)• Protects all M777 Howitzers (USMC) & HIMARS Launchers (US Army)• Selected by the Apache PM to protect the MTADS on all AH-64D aircraft
(720 covers purchased in 48 months)• The only covers fielded by the Utility PM for deploying UH/HH-60M units
(176 cover sets purchased in 36 months) • Chosen by the PD ASE to protect the CH-47 ATIRCM (380 covers), OH-
58D CMWS Flare Dispenser (300 covers), and MAST (68 covers)• Protects all UH-60A/L, UH-60M and AH-64 stabilators during overhaul
and maintenance at Corpus Christi Army Depot (29 Stabilator covers)• Over 50,000 covers deployed world wide by the US Military
ROI ranges from 3:1 to over 20:1
The Outcome - Standard in the USN
Rear Admiral McManamon – Deputy for Surface Warfare –Naval Sea Systems Command:
11
“The end result of the analysis concludes that defining Envelop Covers as required equipment for outfitting of surface ships and funding that procurement is a financially sound decision”.
“...the effectiveness of Envelop Covers in preventing corrosion and the intrusion of sand and other contaminants significantly improves operational readiness…”
“We are in the process of outfitting every surface ship in the Navy with Envelop Covers”.

dirt and water, the ECS plug seals nicely to prevent anything from entering. The padded stabilator cover works great during maintenance, keeping it well protected from falling objects which is a common hazard. The rescue hoist is crucial to our mission, the cover keeps out dust and water keeping it clean and functional. Everything about these covers are tough and are by far the best I have seen. Also, I want to thank you for taking the time to come out and conduct user training on the new covers before we deployed. Great customer service!”
SGT, US Army, HH-60M Crew Chief, MEDEVAC Company (Presently Deployed to Afghanistan)
“These covers are great, they're the only line of defense between the elements and our helicopters when storms roll in and threaten to beat them up. We use the nose and FLIR covers quite often in high wind and rain/hail conditions, the ability to adjust each strap keeps them tightly wrapped in the position I left them in. Prior to getting Envelop covers, I would come out to find the old covers flapping in the wind or scattered across the flight line 90% percent of the time. I am very impressed with the material, it is extremely rugged and has great waterproof capabilities. The ECS intake is infamous for gathering

Stabilator Covers
• All of the Envelop Padded Stabilator covers are designed to protect the stabilator from impact damage caused during maintenance or servicing of the tail rotor system:– Provides impact protection from a tool weighing up to 6 Lbs (breaker
bar) dropped from a height of up to 8 Feet– Straps are buckled and cinched to securely maintain the cover in
place for use in the hangar or out on the flight line – Padding wraps fully around the leading edge for protection even
when the stabilator is slued down– Covers come with their own mesh storage bag that is hidden away in
an internal pocket when the cover is in use– Covers make the stabilators more visible and help prevent personal

VCI Emitter Pad
• Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) Emitter Pad– Designed to augment the VCI coverage when using Envelop
Protective Covers to cover large pieces of equipment or containers• The same proven and tested VCI technology that is used in
standard Envelop Covers• 3 Times the VCI concentration as the VCIs provided in standard
Envelop Covers• The VCI will provide 3-5 years maximum corrosion fighting
effectiveness when used in confined spaces (i.e. inside T-700 engine container)
• Easy to use – just cut a length of the emitter pad and attach to component (1 square foot of emitter pad will cover approximately a 10 cubic feet area)
• Designed to meet the individual needs of our customers
