A high sensitive multi-gas GC-PID analyzer

The PID-Analyzer is a multi-gas trace analyzer for the detection and identification of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the ppb-range wi thout any pre-concentration.It is a Photo Ionization Detector (PID) coupled with a gas chromatographic column (GC-column) for pre-separation.

The PID-Analyzer does not show any interference (quenching) from humidity and offers manual and automatic analysis. With this detector combination the disadvantage of conventional PIDs is overcome and therefore allows the identification of compounds. This is quite important for the risk assessment because only with identi f ication a related concentration can be measured. It is especially important for gas mixtures which can be disentangled by the GC-PID.

The PID-cell used in this system is a special designed PID with sensitivity in the ppb-range. Since no carrier gas is required the operational costs of the PID-Analyzer (GC-PID) are low. As mobile version the PID-Analyzer can be set-up as an autarkic and mobile working analyzer but can also be connected to an external computer via interface.

EX-protection (purge system) is available.

Calibration functions with an additional calibrator for SPAN/ZERO calibration is offered as well as Multi-Point-Sample (MPS) systems, dilution- or even gas probe chiller systems.

The PID-Analyzer enclosures can range from Class 1 Division 1 to general purpose. Also
