You can even use these cards to play the FLASH LIGHT GAME (put the cards on the wall, turn the lights off and have the student find the card with the correct preposition using the flash light). You can also have the students have a variety of the cards in front of them. As you hold up a card, the students have to look for the match. Whoever finds the match first gets to keep the card. Pages 8-11: Print up the sorting mats and laminate for durability. Mix up all the cards on the table. Have the student put the pictures on the correct prepositions mat. This serves as a good receptive language task if they are not ready to show expressive understanding of the prepositions.
