The defining characteristic of fascist leaders is their tendency to constructregimes founded on fear and oppression. They tend to intimidate theircitizenry through threats, repression and torture, and thus control them

as they wish. This is the case in almost all fascist regimes. Those who go alongwith them are those who generally support might instead of right, easily bow

their heads in the face of brutality, and are the kind of weak souls that can eas-ily be led in any direction the authorities want. Ignorance here plays an impor-tant role.

In the Koran, God provides an example of a cruel dictator and the kind ofsociety those loyal to him consist of: Egypt in the time of the Pharaohs.

The Pharaoh who ruled Egypt at the time of the prophet Moses establisheda system based entirely on the use of oppression. He did not hesitate using forceand brutality, as all fascist leaders have done in order to fortify their authority.

When we examine what the Koran has to say about Pharaoh, we see a strik-ing resemblance to modern fascist leaders. Like fascist leaders in our own time,

Pharaoh divided the people in his country into classes, massacring some of them:

We recite to you with truth some news of M oses and Pharaoh for people who believe. Pharaoh exalted him-self arrogantly in the land and divided its people into camps, oppressing one group of them by slaughter-ing their sons and letting their women live. He was one of the corrupters. (Koran, 28:3-4)

Another striking feature of Pharaoh's regime is the use of military power against his own people, in the verysame way as the modern fascists. For instance, he sent his army to prevent the flight of the children of Israeland the Prophet Moses. The Koran repeatedly uses the expression "Pharaoh and his troops" when speakingabout his government, which indicates that it was a militarist one.

Another similarity between Pharaoh and contemporary fascists is the way they portray themselves as di-vine. The "deification of the leader" employed in Hitler and Mussolini's regimes was also openly employed byPharaoh:

Pharaoh said, "Council, I do not know of any other god for you apart from Me" (Koran, 28:38)

Pharaoh called to his people, saying, "My people, does the kingdom of Egypt not belong to me? Do not allthese rivers flow under my control? Do you not then see?" (Koran, 43:51)

The verse also indicates that Pharaoh gave virulent speeches and hectored his people, a most distinctive fea-ture of the propaganda methods employed by fascist dictators such as Hitler and Mussolini.

At a time when Pharaoh was pressuring his people to follow wherever he led them, a true prophet, theProphet Moses, came to tell the people of Egypt the truth and lead them onto the correct path. But they wereafraid to follow Moses, and stuck with Pharaoh, who appeared to them more powerful:

No one believed in Moses except for a few of his people out of fear that Pharaoh, and the elders, would per-secute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was one of the pr ofligate. (Koran, 10:83)

As we have seen, some of those who might have believed in the Prophet Moses failed to do so out of fearof incurring the wrath of Pharaoh and those around him. This shows that Pharaoh's regime was one that op-pressed people solely because of their beliefs, a fundamental characteristic of fascism.

Another similarity between Pharaoh and contemporary fascist leaders is their discriminatory and racisttreatment of people. The racist views of modern fascists can also be seen in Pharaoh. Like the "anti-Semitic"leaders of our own time, Pharaoh also saw the people of Israel as a so-called inferior race, and belittled theprophets Moses and Aaron before their own people, the People of Israel. Here is an example of the words ofPharaoh and those around him:

They said, "What! Should we believe in two human beings like ourselves when their people are our slaves?"(Koran, 23:47)

As is clear from the examples given so far, there were impor-tant resemblances between Pharaoh's system and that of fascistregimes in our own time. These similarities are not just limitedto administrative systems, but also apply to the peoples ad-ministered under those systems. Certainly, most people who

abided by Pharaoh and followed his rule knew that they weredoing the wrong thing, and that the Prophet Moses was in theright. But, because they saw Pharaoh as powerful, and as theirruler, they thought that they had no other alternative. They fellunder the influence of brute force and power. They believed inthe principle that "might is right" though the only true pos-sessor of might and dominion is God. Because they could notcomprehend this, they and Pharaoh ultimately suffered greathumiliation, both in this world and in the hereafter. God in-forms us about the end that awaited these people:

So We seized him and his troops and flung them into the sea.See the final fate of the wrongdoers! We made them leaders, summoning to the Fire, and on the Day of Rising they willnot be helped. We pursued them with a curse in this worldand on the Day of Rising they will be hideous and spurned.(Koran, 28:40-42)

The end met by fascist leaders is just as unhappy as that ofPharaoh. Hitler committed suicide, and Mussolini was con-demned to death by his own people. The cruelties they com-mitted in an attempt to elevate themselves only led to their hu-miliation. They became people who were remembered withdisgust by those who came after. Furthermore, their humilia-tion in the hereafter will be much greater than that in this

world. But it must be remembered that the suffering in thehereafter is not just restricted to them, it also includes their fol-lowers. God reveals this truth in the Koran as:

They will all parade before God and the weak will say tothose who were arrogant, "We followed you, so c an you helpus at all against the punishment of God?' They will say, "IfGod had guided us, we would have guided you. It makes nodifference whether we cannot stand it or bear it patiently. Wehave no way of escape." (Koran, 14:21)

Many dictators have established despotic regimes in thisworld, with their people bowing their heads to them, taken bythe spell of brute force, violence, fear and domination, or as theKoran puts it " followed the command of every obduratetyrant" (Koran, 11:59). God reveals the great error these leadersand their societies have made:

Pharaoh and those before him and the Overturned Citiesmade a great mistake. They disobeyed the Messenger of theirLord so He seized them in an ever-tightening grip. (Koran,69:9-10)

Almost everyone has his own rights and wrongs. The criteria used to determine these rights andwrongs differ greatly. A book, a person, a politi-

cian, or, at times, a philosopher may well be the guide inlife for a person. However, the right path, which is the on-ly path that leads to salvation, is the religion which Godhas chosen. In this path, the unique goal is to earn thepleasure, mercy and paradise of God. Other paths, no mat-ter how attractive they may seem, are deceptive and lead toruin, hopelessness, unhappiness and painful punishment

both in this world and in the hereafter. Those who are guid-

ed to the straight pathare a secret revealed inthe Qur'an. They are theservants God has guid-ed to His straight pathand who earn His para-dise.

    Believing withcertainty

Before all else, oneneeds to have faith inorder to be guided tothe straight path. If one

believes that the onlypossessor and creator ofthe heavens and theearth and everything in

between is God, and iscertain that the reasonof his existence in the

world is to be the ser-vant of God, and seeksto earn God's content-ment all through hislife, God guides him tothe straight path. Faithin God, in the hereafterand the Qur'an should

be a resolute and certainfaith. Although somepeople say that they are

believers, they mayhave doubts. When theyare together with disbe-lievers and remain un-der their influence, suchpeople are likely to dis-play weaknesses and assume a hostile attitude against Godand His religion. However, those God guides to the straightpath have a resolute and unwavering faith:

And so that those who have been given knowledge willknow it is the truth from their Lord and believe in it andtheir hearts will be humbled to Him. God guides thosewho believe to a straight path. (Surat al-Hajj: 54)

Turning to God with complete submission

Believers' turning to God with complete submission isanother secret of being guided to the straight path. For onewho believes in God and fears the hereafter, this worldholds no charm.

When the only ambi-tion is to please God, true

believers turn to God in alltheir acts, and knowingthat God is testing them, they submit themselves tothe fate God has predeter-mined. God has informedthat those who submitthemselves to Him will beguided to the straightpath:

How can you disbelieve, when God's Signs are re-cited to you and theMessenger is there amongyou? Whoever holds fastto God has been guidedto a straight path. (SurahAli 'Imran: 101)

Believers who fear Godstrive to purify themselvesof their wrongdoing andto attain the moral perfec-tion God will be mostpleased with. However, one needs humility to beabsolved of mistakes andreceive guidance to thestraight path. God givesgood news to His servantswho avoid following theSatan and obey those whocall to the Qur'an and to itscommands:

Those who shun the wor-ship of false gods andturn towards God willhave good news. So givegood news to My ser-

vants. Those who listenwell to what is said and follow the best of it, they are theones whom God has guided, and they are the people ofintelligence. (Surat az-Zumar: 17-18)

    THE EVOLUTION DECEIT

The Scientific Collapse of Darwinism andIts Ideological Background

The greatest fraud in the history of sci-ence is unveiled

The Evolution Deceit has been published inmany languages and created a sweeping effectacross the world. The purpose of the book is todisplay the basic scientific facts that disprove thetheory of evolution in every field and to makepeople aware of the inner truth, background andreal purpose of this scientific fraud.

The main thrust of the book is stated in theintroduction:

The theory of evolution constitutes the un-derpinnings of a dishonest philosophy that has

held sway over a great number of people. That philosophy is "materialism",which holds a number of bogus views about why and how we came i nto being.Materialism maintains that there is nothing but the matter and that matter is theessence of everything, be it living or non-living. Starting out from this premise,it denies the existence of a divine Creator, that is, God.

The detriments of materialism are not only limited to individuals.Materialism also seeks to abolish the basic values on which the state and socie-ty rest and generate a soulless and insensitive society that pays attention only tomatter. For these reasons, materialism is one of the severest menaces to the basicvalues of the political and social order of a nation.

Another great evil of materialism is its underpinning of anarchist and divi-sive ideologies that take aim at the perpetuity of the state and the people.Communism, the foremost of these ideologies, is the natural political outcome ofthe materialist philosophy. Seeking to abolish such sacred notions as state andfamily, it constitutes the fundamental ideology of every form of separatist ac-tions directed against the unitary structure of the state.
