UPCOMING ACDA EVENTS
JOIN VOICES, CHICAGO! December 1, 2017
St. Xavier University, Chicago, Illinois
Join Voices, Chicago! is set to be held December 1, 2017 at St. Xavier University. As part of IL ACDA's urban initiatives, Join Voices represents a unique opportunity for city choirs to come together in a non-competitive, supportive environment. There are also
opportunities for collegiate choral music education students, and for current teachers to gain professional development hours in this collaborative setting. This year's clinician is Glen Thomas Rideout, from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He will provide a clinic for each participating choir, as well as teach a mass selection at the end of the day. Last year's inaugural event was a great success with
over 500 students attending. The event is partially funded by Illinois ACDA and National ACDA's Fund for Tomorrow.
